There are several good cleaning tools on the market, including the IBC from USCONEC and the Sticklers CleanClicker. These also work for Pigtails and SFL lenses. Viavi will Calibrate your meter and return it the NEXT DAY so you can continue working LOL.......... It'd be great if this was actually true. I have around 30 Technicians right now that would immediately utilize this service .....IF .... IT WAS TRUE. As opposed to the 2 Weeks to 1 Month actually reality of the timeframe before you get your meter back and no loan meter issued but instead they are charged ridiculous day rates so they can keep working Basically they are charged more than they earn in a day which defeats the purpose of working doesn't it ? Viavi should have an NBN solution whereby IF YOU REQUIRE THAT THE D.P.'s REQUIRE A CALIBRATION AND CERTIFICATE then you should have a provision so techs are not 2 weeks without a meter Here in the field we are literally lending meters to each other to get around this. IS THIS THE SOLUTION THAT VIAVI HAD IN IT'S VISION ? i'ts not right and we shouldn't be doing this Also, i'm curious, Can you do a calibration from Strata sync and download a certificate into the meter after calibration, From stratasync This is ASSET MANAGEMENT there has to be asimpler solution than what we have now. @@ViaviSolutions "Onsite Visit" ? Calibrations are conducted "in the lab" how would you do them onsite ? NBN Techs are basically begging to have their meters calibrated Are you telling me that 1. Viavi can organise "onsite calibration" 2. with the meter ready to go same day or next day ? I doubt it mate, the current lead time is send it to melbourne then wait 2-3 weeks

Hi @millie_arzuaga: The blue connector on your OTDR is most likely an SC/PC connector. You can connect any fiber optic cable, patchcord or launch cable that has the same connector to your OTDR. To connect your OTDR with a PC connector to an APC fiber optic cable, you will need to use a hybrid patchcord or launch cable.
