I can't believe it's been 7 years since this album was released. Why do time move so fast? or maybe it's the beautiful things that don't change so that we don't feel time with their companion? When this album was released I was 17 years old and it was raining non stop for weeks, it was my first time witnessing this amount of rain, I was truly living in a rain temple but inside of my head I really love 2814, their music is just different full of emotions, dystopitic emotions I'm glad I was there when this album was released it's just an important experience for me. Lately I have discovered a band from the 80s, and the comment sections of their videos were full of old people expressing their feelings back in the day, reading their comments really made me feel very emotional. I really don't like how time move so fast, in no time I will be back here to these videos (if the world hasn't ended of course, or if I'm still alive) and I will write about when this album was released, the rain didn't stop for a while and it was such a beautiful experience and I'll still wouldn't believe it's been years since it was released.
This album contains some of the most jarringly beautiful tracks that vaporware has to offer. And the fact that they all happen to be in the same release, it's incredible.
50 Euro to Break Boost is freaking amazing. Feels like a Basinski lost tape with some breakbeat over it! Would like an hour long of this with the tape desintegrating
I'm not sure how to explain it but I wanna look like this album. like, not the album cover, but the music. its repetitive yet slow melodic rhythms is something i somehow want to achieve the appearance of.
I have been listening to this for about three years, mostly before bed on weekends while I'm browsing Google Earth. My dog would always wake up and start quietly barking when the first song was playing because he probably thought someone was knocking at the door. Tonight as I listen to it, my dog who I've loved for over a decade has just passed away and this video is really just allowing me to remember that moment between myself and him that it was just the two of us. I miss you and I love you Archie. Until we meet again.
