My name is Candace & I have been gardening for about 15 years. In 2020 I started a small scale cutflower & vegetable farm I'm located in southern Indiana, zone 6b. On this channel I share all things farming & gardening from starting seeds indoors to harvesting & selling cutflowers & vegetables, making bouquets, and everything in between! So grab a drink, follow me, I'm so glad you're here!
This is my first year because Ive always been scared too! But I chose to fall sow tyem, & 2 crops that will winter kill, so that even if I do something wrong, theyll die this winter! Lol
Hahahaha! Aint that the truth! The economy is in shambles!!! Waaaahhh! But anywho, beautiful ingredients!!! Love that sweet william & celosia! What is the white and green foliage?
So beautiful!!! I can't believe how tall it gets in one season! It sucks that it's not perennial, only because its SOOO beautiful! But definitely worth growing even as an annual for its beautiful foliage!
OMG Candace! 😮 Youre Cutflower Farm has literally come sooooo far! It is absolutley breathtaking! What I would give to take a stroll with my morning coffee there! *and Im not saying it wasnt beautiful before! Im just saying that the fence, the greenhouse, etc. has just made it 10x's more breathtaking!
I'm here because the tiny wild sunflowers grow everywhere I live lol so I thought it'd be interesting what type of sunflower people eat, I might grow some too
Are you sure theyre sunflowers? there are some flowerd- like rudbeckias- that look just like sunflowers, but theyre not. Definitely recommend growing! They're beautiful!
Yes! I havr a video on saving yye seeds! However, I can't say with 100% certainty whether or not tue seeds came true to color. I did label them, but then I didnt go back at the time of them blooming to see if they bloomed the color they were supposed to.. 🤦♀️
Are you doing good with your farmers market sales this year? Would love to see a video on you going to market. Seeing what you take (volume wise- # of bouquets, veggies, etc.), how you set up, etc.
