An idea for the machine set into the table as shown. Free quilting. Why not quilt from the side of the machine , so that the bulk of the quilt can be rolled in two sections one in front, one in back of the needle. You would be sitting 90 degrees to the left, facing needle shaft looking at the plunger. Yes, much would have to be set up ahead of time, but once sewing, I think you could get more done. I got this idea from my juki for which a large add on table (300$) could be purchased to be used for this purpose.
Great tutorial! I'll would watch all 4 hours only if you get another camera person. One that will show everything you're doing instead of drifting off couldn't see some of the buttons you were pushing and just what you were doing 😕

I have been seriously considering this machine. Right now I know absolutely nothing about quilting (but hope to learn that too). I use my machine mostly for garment sewing and bag making but want something that can handle thicker materials and layers. Would this machine be able to handle multiple layers of canvas or vinyl for bag making or would you say that this machine is not made for that kind of use?

Wow you did go mad on your bags but 6 months bag free is good in cutting down on bag buying as next year I'm going to buy a nice new sewing machine they are lovely bag and all on sale so you did well
