Honestly, the ending where Bahamut escapes after the mother alien is destroyed is my least favorite of them all. Dr. Wily gets away at the end of every Mega Man game, but this is Contra, not Mega Man...
I see your point 😅. In Mega Man games, Dr. Wily always escapes, but in Contra, Colonel Bahamut is a way bigger and more dangerous threat. I actually think the ending is more unique and unexpected.

Yep. that's right. the BGM is really awesome. Unfortunately, the character movements are still a bit stiff.. imagine if the movements were like 'Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu,' it would be even more fun.

Back then, it was hard to realize how stilted the translation was. Now we know, especially since Reshrined's English dialogue seems more natural by comparison.
I commend you for playing the US version of the game which is literally a hard mode version of the game. It's freaking brutal compared to the Japanese version.
@@ikkicorner I remember playing it a few decades ago and only being able to get to "best" ending once. Back then i didn't have ton of experience but fast forward to now i can get to any ending i want without much trouble just like you can.
That's excellent. With the right weapon choices and understanding the enemy attack patterns, especially those of the bosses, playing it will be much easier.
I was so disappointed that we never got a sequel especially with that damn cliffhanger they left us on. Let’s save the rest of this story for another time blah blah blah 😒 to be continued blah blah blah 😑and to this day my disappointment is there but I always have fun replaying this game from time to time.

yep. since the first series of sengoku ace he's been having bad luck. i think the one who made the curse for her bad luck is ayin's younger sister. if her sister didn't wander out of the house maybe she wouldn't have adventured to experience all kinds of bad luck. 🤣
