My love for the mountains is great but my passion to create and inspire is even greater. Welcome to RockyMountainRiles where I search to create content that both inspires and shows people what a beautiful world we have before us.
@@WesleyBurnett-m7e it’s got some crazy class 2 maybe class 3 climbs on it if you sniff it out but overall this climb is very beautiful! I highly suggest you hit these soon or next year but don’t skip em!
@@RockyMountainRiles I’ve done a bit of class two and hiked longs so I’m prepared mentally for this. It’s the issue of distance. I’m over in Granby so it’s a bit of a drive. I’ll try to get this in two weeks and knock out La Plata peak this week.
@@WesleyBurnett-m7eMy buddies have done Plata they said it was sick! Only thing I heard was be careful what approach you decide to do. Certain approaches have absolutely awful roads that are super under-maintained and impossible to get to. Unless of course your doing independence pass…. Then you’re chillin!
Omg your dog is such a trooper for making it through that hike! I am very grateful I met you on the mountain, it was that much of a better time because of you! Hope the peppered jerkey tasted good :)
These videos are usually interesting. One day doing the keyhole route my son and adopted grandpa and I passed over 100 people and we’re passed by one guy running. Weather can make a big difference always wanted to do the east face but never had the time. Did the north face in spring ice and on January one. serious stuff those two latter ones . When I did the cable route, it was covered in ice and I had to chop small steps. Young and crazy! However, anyway you do longs as long as you were sensible makes it a potentially wonderful experience.
there was some old fuddy duddy thousands of years ago who probably told his cavekids not to draw dumb shit on the walls.. look at today , some fuddy duddy enjoying it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Same would have loved to watch but the camera angle was of your feet I’m sure you didn’t mean for this to happen. Looks like u had a blast and it sucks we couldn’t enjoy it with you.
My apologies for the camera angle! I’ll make sure to correct that next video so you will be able to enjoy alongside with me! Thank you for the feedback <3
Turns out Boog The Bird is a Grey Jay. This type of bird’s grey feathers helps him blend into leafless branches on trees. They’re able to catch flying insects in mid-air. And they’ll eat nearly anything in the forrest, including: invertebrates, amphibians, small mammals, nestlings of other birds, chickadees, berries, carrion, and fungi. With such a rich pallet, you could say little Boog is down for anything and will not be going hungry this winter.
