Loadng tip: Put first round in halfway, then push it in with the next round, leaving it halfway in, and repeat until fully loaded. Last one goes in the finger or extra round
It’s honestly up to you. If you have high activity in the area you should choose the rechargeable batts or the lithium battery packs. We also have the solar panels that interface with this model. Tactacam recommends Lithium batteries in colder temps for this camera.
.22 doesn’t have enough ballistic energy for self defense, so I don’t really see the point in producing a micro compact, carry sized gun in this caliber…
@@josephesquivel4066 I’m not saying you can’t use one in a pinch but .22 is far from ideal when it comes to defensive use for a few reasons including the fact that it’s a rimfire cartridge which is inherently less reliable than center fire ignition.
@@Gibblegobblegoob Ballistic energy is demonstrated when faulty trigger discipline and a sticky appendix carry collude to produce unintentional discharge, I believe. If you're lucky, it's only measured in ft-lbs, not pounds of flesh.
You don't have to rack the slide on it, that's one of the points to the flip up barrel. You load the mag, then slide one in the chamber and close the barrel. If it's anything like the Beretta Bobcat which it copies, it might have an extremely steep feed ramp angle which can tend to deform lead round nose bullets upon chambering. I also found it wouldn't feed flat nose bullets well like CCI Punch and Winchester silver tip. My Bobcat really only liked CCI Mini-Mag Target (not hollow point). And then, only ran for about 60rds before needing the chamber cleaned as the Beretta didn't have an extractor.
MSRP is $330 so probably under $300 in the store after the hype wears off. Thats probably about $100 cheaper and 1.1oz lighter than my current fav pocket .22, the LCP-2. Am I gonna buy one? Nah I'm a Ruger fan-boi.
My pt .22 was a p.o.s. After I returned it for repair it only stove piped every other mag instead of every mag. Not for carry so much, but I couldn’t even have fun with it at the range. The pt stood for part time, because it would only shoot part time.
@tylerrodriguez9233 Walther P-38s eject to the left, not the right. With the open top slide, this thing is chucking them all over the place a full 360 degrees. Haha. Blowback operated, not recoil operated.
@@SuspiciousGanymede Yeah. Direct blowback operated like the PT22. The firing pin acts as the ejector while blowback pressure extracts. Hi Point guns are also blowback operated.
@@SuspiciousGanymede never in 1 million years would I knock the TX22, and I feel the same way about it as you do. But also never in 1 million years would I compare it to something like the TUC22.
It really depends on the activity at your camera location. If it’s working overtime taking photos and video they probably won’t last all season. But if the activity isn’t crazy they may last a good long while.
Say, i want to connect my bait to my line without having to make a knot each time, and when I'm done fishing, I want nothing on the line. Whats the best way to do this? I thought maybe I make a loop and snap that to one side of the duolock and snap the bait to the other side. Is that possible? If yes, are these snaps like double safety snaps but smaller? Thanks
Honestly the best way to attach a snap would be a knot. Most fishing knots are super easy to learn. Check this one out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7yzpEyKd464.htmlsi=lCZRq4G5WH_bF1h3
You can get On Demand video straight to your phone using the Reveal App. Just to clarify, this feature is only available on the Reveal Pro 3.0. You will also need to activate and pay for an additional feature on top of your current monthly plan from Tactacam. Check out this FAQ answer on Tactacam's website. tactacam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/26760617203867-How-does-On-Demand-Video-work-on-the-Pro-3-0
Do you chose the starter, intermediate or pro plan? If go with the starter plan at 250 photos is it easy to erase photos on app or is better to get plan with unlimited photos?
Once a photo has been taken, it counts against your monthly limit. Deleting an image doesn't affect your plan. If you think there will be a lot of activity at the trail cam location, your best bet is to go with the unlimited plan.
