Loved this video. I hope you don't mind my intervention though, because the "old" Huntingdon School clip is inaccurate. The school portrayed is in fact still standing, and it is located on Alfreton Road, and is called Bentinck Primary School. Huntingdon School was on Huntingdon St. at the junction of Huntingdon St. (A60) and (B864). I taught there for a while when the head was Mr. Richardson. I only remember a few of the pupils by name, one was Devon Hunt, know him? Also, the 'Yahweh Yahshua' congregation met on Newstead Grove, just round from Peel St. I also attended there for many years. nice film, I lived just off the bottom of gorden rd middle to late sixties and I have fond memories ,some called them slums but i can assure you they were't. I think it a crime the way it was all destroyed plus black and white mixed more than today.
Why is this video eleven minutes long? "Once upon a time, St Anns used to be one of the nicest places to llive in Nottingham. Then there was a rehousing project, and lots of chavs moved in. Then the Chavs multiplied. St Anns is now a shithole full of chavs". The End.
I used to visit Marple St to see relatives in the 1960's. Very cramped housing, no bathrooms and toilets out in the back yard. Much has changed.- Thanks for posting.
