Notice the knot that allows him to instantly release her is she does spook? The reason he stays beside her and keeps her calm? Pressure, release. Positive and negative reinforcements. You keep a horse safe by showing them they can rely on you for safety.

What a evil human stop the horse abuse

Saying ignorant things like you have here is horse abuse. The horse isn’t being harmed and isn’t afraid. It’s essential to do this with your horse so when it finds itself stuck, it waits for help. If you DONT do this, the horse is much more likely to kill itself on accident or somebody else, if not very likely. Anybody who knows anything about horses understands this is an essential kindness. For the horses health and future. If you prefer your horses to live short lived and die miserably from injury or auction, then by all means. Keep saying ignorant things.

@smackaroo4159 how would you feel if I tied you up like that huh 😏
@smackaroo4159
@smackaroo4159 5 месяцев назад
@@Dorian-wf1ivwith what he’s doing? Honestly, perfectly fine, because i wouldn’t be tied up. This horse isn’t even tied up. It takes one yank to undo that knot, which is the whole point. If she panicked she could get hurt. Just like when a horse casts themselves, (they are tangled or can’t stand they understand not to panic and edit for their owner to come help free them. She’s not tied up, her leg is simply being supported by the rope. Tying her to herself allows her some flexibility to loosen it, and even take it off willingly. Training a horse to see how they are safe and can trust their human is much better than them dying. If you think training an animal for their safety is abuse, don’t own animals, period. If you can’t understand that, you’re just a lost cause. I can personally garantee you have never cared for a horse-people who understand their needs wouldn’t say such vile and hateful things like “evil man,” to a gentleman that cares more for his mare than you do for the species.

You’re welcome to send me the “right kind of bag”. She has been exposed to plastic shopping bags, flags, feed sacks and more. This was not a training video. It was actually a raw event that happened. This old bag came flying through pasture and older horses were spooking. I told my wife I bet ginger will pay no mind to this bag. I put a halter on ginger grabbed the bag off the fence where it was stuck and we video her response.

Ginger, a 4 year old Thoroughbred, is such a pleasure to be around. Let me explain what is going on here. I’ve been allowing them to free graze around the house, down the driveway and the pasture opposite side of the barn. So each night at feeding time she is waiting for me at the alley gate to be allowed in the barn and into her stall. Today I left a side gate open on side of the barn with outside edge stall doors open so they could travel in and out however they desired. So tonight ginger was in one of those stalls, backside of wash rack, waiting on me versus at the alley gate. So I said let’s see how smart she is and if she can figure this out without me escorting her. Now she will be entering the alley from the opposite direction of her typical path. So her stall will now be on her right versus her left. Also there is a piece of old living quarter paneling (from Betsy friend trailer demo job) that’s on the floor of the alley. Betsy was feeding her barn cats on that piece of board. Today that board was my nemesis. The water hose kept finding a way to hitch a ride as I drag the hose around. I gotta run some water lines so I don’t need that hose. Anyway this afternoon it ended up in front of Ginger’s stall gate. I said I’m going to leave it there for ginger to have to deal with. I didn’t expect a problem but still wanted her to get that exposure/challenge. Not like it’s a difficult trail obstacle but still somewhat of a challenge. So I stuck my head into the adjacent stall that has a clear path through the stall and into the alley and whistled to her and said come on ginger let’s go eat. She exited the stall walked to the adjacent stall towards the alley and I decided to start videoing. The video tells the rest of the story.
