We can get a grisp of the fact that Yulia wasn't Ricardo's partner in 2005....so this famous dancing couple who now became a Legend actually got together from 2006. Yulia used to be partnered w/Maxim Koznikov(?) until 2005.
In some of the couples, I can see the big size of their Big Top Lines especially in the Open Reverse and Open Natural Turns, and also in some of the Pivot figures too.
How things change! They were 18 or 19 when this performance aired. They stopped dancing together. He is now on Dancing With The Stars with his brother Maxim.
This is not Haladay's "The Ghetto Live" in its original form - it HAS to be a cover - this isn't even a 70's sound - if anyone knows what this actual tune is, please post it here?:) Thanks
Tango as performed today in Argentina is not the same as it was in the 1800s it has evolved, it was first called 'Tango Andaluz' because it came from Spain to B.A. & the first music calling itself tango was called 'Toma Mate, Che' in 1837. Tango from argentina is their's from Montevideo is their's & all the other varieties of tango reflect where it evolved. It didn't originate in Argentina it was taken there & evolved there to what they do there today. Elswhere it's different but it's still tango
@DanielDebarberat It must necessarily expressing lust or desire constantly emitting drool while dancing to be called 'dancers'? Then even the ballet is all shit because the dancers dance with style and do not look like they wanted to shag now or are not embraced tight cheek to cheek?
i also agree: your comments are hurtful and disgusting to people like us who work hard and are passionate about ballroom dancing. it may not be your style of dance but you should RESPECT others style of dancing. and if you have considered to try dancing ballroom.. you would know there's a difference between foxtrot and waltz in terms of musicality and the character of the dance.. but main idea is to appear elegant while keeping a disciplined posture - or as you call it a bent swan neck??
