Hello welcome to my channel. Where i fish the lower laguna madre from arroyo city to port Mansfield tx . Not a pro just and average fishermen making videos for fun and to learn the Texas waters . Fish on !!!!
man those green lights kill in galveston. from about 11pm-2am its non stop almost as soon as the bait hits the water. the big thing is to find out what color they are hitting that night. just take about 5-8 packs of plastics out and your guaranteed to have a good time.
@@grhookups963 I cant stress enough to get 5-8 different color packs. i usually get them in minnow or worm form, but i have had them strike on crawfish and squid plastics as well. Speckled trout is a sight predator, so its all about finding that one bait they are hitting that night. i usually give a bait about 2 or 3 casts before ill switch. when you find the right bait youll know. you will get a hit on almost every cast. ive even had a couple hit the bait the second it touched the water. if your into keeping them they make a really good chowder.
Back in the 1990s and up till about 2003 the Huron River Lighthouse on Lake Erie had big halogen lighs illuminating the rocks around it for boats. Made great Walleye Fishing. Then the idiot port authorities dredged out the power cable feeding it.😢 fishing from shore we could limit out in a few hours tossing rattle traps shad raps or Erie Derries ... Miss the fishing w my brothers im only one left.😢
Is the water usually pretty calm there? Thinking of taking my 16 ft Jon boat there. I’ve been all along the arroyo Colorado and feel like I can get there by hugging the shore to curve into it
On a calm day you can hug the shoreline to get in there just careful the entrance can get really shallow on low tide days . 15 mph winds it’s pretty calm in there anything higher than that it get a little rough for a small craft
Nice video, what the best way to get into Rattlesnakes? I always pass by there on my way to 3 Island and gaswell flats. Been wanting to try it in there.
I CANNOT find where to buy one! I’ve searched internet but can’t find that bot you are on! That is a GREAT boat for the Louisiana backwater where I live. Can you provide more information please my friend!
You need to learn how to release fish. why didn't you just take that off and then release him by running him horizontally , nose going forward and let the water run through him before you just let him go? Are you scared to touch it? You basically put him in the water upside down swirled him in circles and let him go and then wondered why he floated upside down. It's because you put him in the water with a stomach full of air. Usually fish can work it out even if you don't release them properly(but even people who don't release them properly will still usually throw them back in nose down instead of tail down) but this one may have been screwed if you wouldn't have flipped him around thankfully the air bubbles were released in time. Think about it.. that's basically a fish with pneumonia. So tou know how it feels to have pneumonia with fluid in your lungs And you feel like you're drowning even though you aren't underwater? well you are forcing air into their stomach when it's not supposed to be there, their gills are like lungs, they do need oxygen but they can't process straight air like us, their gills is what breathes the "air",it uses and filter the oxygen that is in the water. You just put that fish back in the water his natural habitat like ours is air and you made him feel like he was drowning in air even though he was in his habitat surrounded by water. You're giving them fish pneumonia by doing that. Yes I'm kind of being a Karen and dramatic but I love fishing and I love fish and they fill my tummy therefore I respect the lives they live and I don't want to deny them what they need to survive and be comfortable, of course unless I'm going to eat them. Lol be nice Mister!
Have you ever been fishing stupid the spines on those fuckers hurt and there slimy so it hit the boat making it fall into the boat again or hurt it self hitting the boat then falling in the water
