Not very helpful video. We want to see an actual drawn MAP where exactly the pickup/drop off are at. Also, is there parking structure where we can we park for free?
@@NanetteG.-ii4xy Well, that’s not helpful for those who are flying out from SD Airport. We need free parking if we are to use the SD Flyer Shuttle bus. 🤨
This is pretty much the worst video ever made. Y’all need some better signage in the Old Town Transit area. After going through the underpass a couple times I eventually asked a security guy and he pointed for me to go over across the street where a group of people are. He said they don’t know why they’re there but that’s where it picks up. I waited until after the pickup time on the pdf and then took a $23 cab ride.
I think one of the ways that we can be sustainable is a better state of public transportation. safe, efficient, and comfortable public transportation can change a lot in terms of how we go to our workplaces. walkable and accessible paths can also make a big difference, instead of constant volume of cars that keep us isolated and add to the air pollution we currently have. more trees can make these paths vibrant and peaceful, as well as making these spaces cooler.
I really can't tell where to pick it up based on this video. they needed to pan out from her so we can see the location. Also, I can't understand what she said about the first location. did she say "bayfront ave?" or "bafe and f?" or what did she say? Not very helpful.
I am told that the flyer will not stop on Palm Street, near Middletown Blue Line Trolley. Google Maps is wrong in that you cannot board the airport shuttle from Palm Street.
Nicole on the video you say to pickup the flyer on the east side of the Old Town transit center, located at (bayfront aft?)? On the Old Town Transit Center map, it shows no reference to this stop on the East side of the transit center, it only shows the Pacific Highway stop.
Would be great if there were a map showing WHERE on the Pacific Highway this bus stop is! I have no idea whether this is something I could take to get near my hotel.
Public parking is free at the main parking lot at the Old Town Station. I don't know how full it gets or if you can reserve a spot. That would be good info to add to this video. Thanks
Can you please reply with coordinates for both stops? Like drop a Google Maps pin and share the link? I have a good idea where the PCH pickup is, but "Bayfront Ave" doesn't seem to exist. Did you mean "Iron Horse Plaza"? Apart from the PCH and maybe Congress and Taylor Streets, I only see that and "Telegraph Plaza" for where buses stop.
@@davidroth1094 yeah, so weird to make a video and not even reference a street recognized on maps. Haha! I ended up finding it and using it just fine, but they should really edit that.
Wonderful. Tell us it is near the Terminal 2 parking gate but don't actually show us how to get from there to the short term lot. And only provide 50 spaces for an entire international airport. They must be laughing at us in the airport administration back office.
Thank you. I'm not the only one. I was there today....entered the T2 parking plaza and was looking for this alleged surface lot.. saw no signs...nothing. Ended up parking on the 2nd level in the parking structure to go get my elderly mom who was arriving....wonderful .Does this lot even exist? Where is the entrance?
Or u familiar with the old town bus terminal? There is a small coffee -snack shop. &. Bus stop has sign & approximate 15 feet away. !! No mask, give tip😊
The Pacific Hwy bus stop is near the corner of Telegraph Place near the Old Town Transit Center. The "Bayfront Ave." description for the east side stop is not helpful. Go to the east side of the transit center and you'll be close.
Video map and video to the cell phone lot would be nice, especially for new and infrequent users. Detailed instructions with routs to Arrivals Terminals also would be much appreciated. Thanks.
U guys need to put up signs to direct people. I ended up walking down the stairs across the dangerous street and got stuck between terminal one and two. Had to backtrack all the way back and then figured out I had to walk in the actual terminal and then take the elevator down. Hopefully this new terminal is worth it SD needs to be a world city
Nicole, thank you very much for producing this video! We have been wanting to take the Coaster to the Airport and heard about the Flyer but were unsure how it would actually work. This is an amazing offering until the eventual trolley / rail expansion into T1. Keep up the great work :)
Hi Nicole, looks nice! Perhaps QR codes linking to this video on the art? I generally exit from T2-East and have seen the VHS player and been so confused every time haha.
