That's a shame you are leaving Sri Lanka. I really liked the way narrate and present Sri Lanka. You make very interesting videos about a beautiful and very fascinating and interesting country with mostly very nice people. I honestly thought you will stay for a couple of years. So you can make more travel videos about Sri Lanka. Hopefully one day you will return to Sri Lanka and stay again for extended period of time so I can enjoy your experience of visiting or being in Sri Lanka. All the best for your future.
It’s interesting that in Croatian they still use the old Slavic words for months of the year. I’m curious if the use Kruh for bread in Serbia as well as Hleb. The one unique word for Serbian /Croatian among Slavic languages is the word for “ rain”. It’s pronounced “kisha “, in other Slavic countries they use a variation of the word “ desh “
All thats to good old Church Slavonic language that was spoken across all Slavs languages. May all my slavs live and be well no matter of religion and some slight language differences.
I always thought improv was doing something on the fly. Kind of like going with the flow of what works. Unplanned action using what ever is at your immediate disposal. 👏👏👏👏👏👍
@@halfrussian Improv is big here in USA there are a lot of venues that have comedy performers. A really big one is called "Comedy Central" based in Manhattan that is a cable channel.
SERBIA, genesis of that word is ENGLISH-latin word SERVANT. SERBIA-SERVIA. Land of servants. it sounds humiliating, but it is one of the theories for the genesis of the word SERBIA. Actually, serbian mentallity is oposite of that.We are people who are constantly in war with dominant forces, constantly oposite side of big emires, ocupators and colonialists. Countries around as are not, they are mostly oposite of us. We payed a huuuge price because of that. Milions and milions killed during contant wars and political instaiblity.
Latin had its own word for servant and it was not that the Serbs took the name from them. Ancient Rome slaves were Slavs and Balkans and area north to them had an abundance of Slavs. This is the sad origin of the word serve.
In old Persian, the word Sarb meant head, authority. With Arabians, Chaldeans and Hebrews, the word Srb means a freeman, hero, insubordinate. Also in Sanskrit, the word Serbh stood for one unyielding to anyone. The Latin word dates later than all of the above. A servant is not necessarily of men but importantly, of God. Also in Latin, there is servator, meaning observer, preserver.
Here are some corrections as far as Serbian is concerned. Drevo and Nizko should be drvo and nisko. Spasiti is from Croatian and spasti is Serbian. All of the words in both Russian and Serbian are written here with capital letters but they shouldn't be because they aren't proper names.

The folk dances are not quite the same. And folk dances show old traditions. Sometimes I think Celtic dancing come from the Balkans. Cool that you can meet so many interesting people from different country in Serbia! And if a British man can learn Serbia, for you it's hundred times easier!
Serbian is an Indo-European language. There are many similarities with other languages such as Latin and Germanic languages. Words can be traced to proto Indo-European.
I love the way life is in Eastern Europe, very traditional. I really hate the idea of monster condos. People should be able to afford a small home in their own country. It is an unattainable dream now in many western countries (unless you get it inherited or are rich).
This man must have learned English in England or online from an Englishman. He has that particular accent. His english is very good. I thought at first that he was from the UK. What a nice man! I find these interviews so interesting. Thanks Snouci!
@@Firzj The most important that's good. I think he introduced himself enough in the video. Why we should always start by introduction. It's always nice to make some changes. Let's see how the video will perform.
