Thank you so much for creating this wonderful video, we love it so much. It is such an absolute pleasure to be a part of the MORryde family. We can't say enough wonderful things about the experience that we had at your facilities and the top notch craftsmanship that your team put into our RV. The new suspension upgrade has been absolutely amazing and has made a huge difference and the towing experience, the brakes make us stop 50% faster, and the new slide tray and safety rails are a game changer. We I think everybody should have a MORryde experience at least once in your lifetime if you are in RV'er. We can't wait to swing back through Elkhart and say hi to the team. Have an amazing day and keep being awesome. 😎

We have the Morryde IS on our triple axle and have about 20K miles on the coach. Been FT for 2years and we love our IS and agree with things not moving a lot. I have found that the alignment needs to be payed attention to very closely and monitoring tire wear will tell you that tire or tires need aligning. I think the severe bumps and potholes have a tendency to create alignment aa well as causing the bearing to become unseated. Also, the hard angled backing up or pulling for increases the chance for an alignment problem. We travel with a few sets of the 3 different sized shims for adjusting the toe or camber. A lot of Morryde approved service centers do not carry them, so if you notice a tire or 2 out of alignment or see tire wear, you have the shims on hand to get to the nearest approved shop and have the issue corrected. Further, we travel with a few extra full bearing kits and seals. 👍😃🍻

Good video, except that the rotor hub braking surface (both sides of the rotor) should have been cleaned with brake clean prior to reinstalling the hub and the tech should have put clean gloves on to do this. You do not want grease left on the braking surfaces of either the rotor or the pads. As well, is there a reason why the caliper pins are not lubed prior to installation? Is this not necessary with the Deemax brakes like you do in an automotive application?

Can it be installed if the scissor jacks are mounted diagonally?
@morrydeinc
@morrydeinc 2 месяца назад
They cannot be installed diagonally. In most cases, the scissor jacks are able to be uninstalled from the frame of the RV and reinstalled to run parallel with each other. You may have to use self tapping screws or a drill bit to create new mounting holes for the screws that secure the scissor jacks to the frame. We have a video demonstrating this process which starts at 4 minutes and 30 seconds into the video. Just finished passenger side. No way c clamps would work. Tried 2 of the biggest c clamps I have to compress spring, could not compress enough. Luckily neighbor has a 4 ton porta power and that did the trick. Its a super duper PITA. Hope the drivers side goes easier tomorrow but my black tank is right outboard of the rubber spring so probably not. You have to lift the back so that the rear wheels are ALL THE WAY off the ground to get old out and then lift the diff to put new ones in. Also had a hell of a time with drift pins and getting the new short bolts in. I will never do this again, worth paying someone else or sell your RV and buy one without 'rubber leaf' that degrades over time. Also, new rubbers are significantly smaller than the old ones as well as the backing steel (steel looks to be 1/8 as opposed to original 3/16". Better rubber or "value engineering"??? Last thing, on the rear of the leaf there is a clamp that holds the spring pack together, when I released the tension on the spring it hung up on these so the 'eye' on the bracket did not make it all the way above the spring pack. Had to use a pry bar to get it to go all the way. Boing! and Boing! very scary sitting under a 14K RV and giant spring pack. Cant imagine these are any better than the stock springs with airbags. Seems way over engineered and just another point of failure.

We got IS and a rubber pin box installed on our toy hauler January 15th. It was -15 degrees when we arrived in Elkhart. I don’t think it’s been that cold there since. Hopefully we get to try it out in a week or so. Driving home in that temperature was no indication of how the system should be. Very good company and hospitality while we were there.
