Nice how you key up without identifying yourself without your gmrs call sign what a big No-No I never have done that and never will if I ever do a video like that I will properly identify myself even if it is a quick test so it's legal not like people like you who don't identify themselves and pissed a lot of people off including the feds from the FCC!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to show this radio. I just bought one and was watching this to get some info. Watching on my phone with earbuds. Only got through the 1st 30 seconds because you're talking so low but the radio beeping blew my ears out. Thanks again for trying but in the future speak up or her closer to the mic. Thanks
No there not this radio is so old and codeplugs are hard to find now for this radio . They say depot is out still but do.t use it because it will brick your radio with firmware they most have r08.73 today so. Try getting a UV5R because you can reset them in menu settings. It's a VHF and UHF radio . Use chirp software or the real UV5R cps.
i have two of these and i love them.... the only thing i wish i could do is program it from the keyboard, but its not that kind of radio. The newer style lithium batteries last a long time and are very light weight. Quality is top notch. each button and knob can be programmed to do what you want.
