Really fun car. Especially the v6 model, trust me as soon as you install an aftermarket exhaust, it sounds crazy good. 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds, really good for a Honda
For models with the newer chime (e.g. Mazda3 BP), the new chime only comes up after the booting animation. It is probably the same case here. Just that this car is a facelift of an older model. So, it uses the newer cluster but with the old chime. If I’m not wrong, for older models with the older chime, the chime would begin as soon as the engine button is pressed.
I bought one of these for $10k with 82,000 miles about 16 months ago. It has left me stranded three times with bad alternators, but I found out it was because of crappy aftermarket alternators, so I forked over the money for a genuine part. Other than that, it’s been pretty good. I have 91k on it now. Pretty soon I’ll be fixing a fuel system leak and getting a timing belt job done.
What would make the startup chime/greeting at 0:08 stop? I just realized mine stopped doing this a few days ago and no one seems to know how to turn it back on, although I never turned it off 😅
