What do you do with your dried clay originals? Are they damaged sometimes, pulling the mold off? I feel like i'd need to bisque fire them before I could mold them to avoid that =/ But if it's no problem then maybe I could get over that fear and actually make some things XD
Wow, you are really good at doing these. It's just so exciting for me to watch you do this. I would like to make cactus molds, would that be possible? Please advise Thank you
Never use direct heat to speed dry your mould making as it can de laminate each layer you paint on. Patients is the key. Let each coat semi dry before adding the next coat.
Don't worry about latex build up on your brush. Steep your brush over night in white spirit and it will eat even hardened latex of but make sure you give your brush a realy good wash in dish soap water to get all that spirit of before using that brush again.

Thank you for making this video. I have questions. When would the ceramic clay be dust like to worry about the silica? I thought it air dries in the shape it is made and there is no dust. Do you mean if one polishes the sculpture with sanding paper perhaps?
can we use polyester resin for casting with this mold? and before casting do you use PVA for mold release? or can we use ( mixing of castol oil with rubbing alcohol?) thanks.
I really enjoyed the video thank you I learned a lot. I have tried to sculpture just small stuff like a little cat out of air dry clay. I just don’t have much luck is there an easier material or substance to sculpture out of
Thank you for your tutorials! You're an awesome teacher! I'm very new to this art form and came across your videos while searching for more information. I love the way you teach! Have you ever tried making a silicone mold(s ) for your concrete statues? If so, what did you think? I would love to see you do a video tutorial on this and include your thoughts about it! Here's a RU-vid link that I came across for reference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TYhOso98N_k.html 🙂
