Welcome to Rock & Dirt. This channel is about mountainbiking and everything associated such as trail reviews, trail docos, tutorials, product reviews and more.
Looking forward to Narooma video. Have you done Eden yet? I’m trying figure out if Eden is shuttle? How far is the ride up? Do you know anyone that has done it?
Would be cool in your videos, if you could mention at the start what bike would best suit the trails you ride for us newbies. An all mountain/trail bike may not cut it on some or most of the trails. Keep up the great work. Love your videos
Thanks Gerwin, good video as always. I have been to Berowra and has some nice trails. I need to explore more though as I don't know the way up other than walking the bike up the trails
Thanks mate. The Turner Trail is another great trail to check out. The trail head of the trail in the video is at the end of Blue Ridge Crescent in Berowra Heights.
Very familiar trails, used to live right next to one of your starting points. A pity some of the trails were closed by council many years ago. They were awesome, ran parallel to OBR.
@@gillybuzz 2 hours? Maybe for northern beaches. I'm Newtown and its just over an hours for me. Oh and the locals told me they've seen a big increase in Sydney riders up there.
Which color did u choose. I think the solid black is kind of a soft touch which is very sensitive to scratch. So I would choose the b/w oder red/white What do you think?
Mate I just watched all 3 parts. Place looks so good. Trying to get over at the end of this year. Just wondering what sort of travel most people were running?
@@tinman8888 note that the park has quite a variety of trails, but all have a similar character, steep with mostly tree roots and some rock. I would think a big bike would be best. I know many riders using their DH rig for the Skyline Park.
@@rock-and-dirt Thanks mate. I do have a full 27.5 bike I use for parks and shuttles which is 180/160. So may be an option. It pedals ok but we would be doing lifts and shuttles most days I am thinking. Otherwise I can beef up my Stumpy Evo and throw a 170 on the front to go with the rear suspension mods I already have and it would be 170/160 mullet.
R.I.P Cringila Hill MTB. I say that because some storm not too long ago destroyed EVERYTHING but step up and rubble. The place is a gonner. It could be fixed but man the place is trashed ):
