I experienced exactly the same issue, My hair felt great after the leave-in and the cream and then after the gel my hair started feeling stiff and frizzy. I did try the gel on finer and smoother texture and worked great.

FINALLY a review on this product! I’ve been looking for reviews on this gel for like a month now! It’s only available at Target & Ulta & last time that I checked, there’s no reviews on it. I don’t even think the brand has promoted it yet so I was starting to think that maybe those stores put it out early. Your hair came out good!!! Thank you for this review now I definitely wanna try this product!
I'm sorry about your results. I've tried this product but I enjoy the og product better than the rebrand. A lot of people were disappointed with the rebrand . I recommend using the ultra hold gel . It uses quinoa instead of flaxseed. Maybe your hair doesn't like the flaxseed gel .
I have fine hair too. I like your method of gel, then foam, then diffuser drying, then oil. I get halo frizz a lot, so I appreciate your comment on that issue. What I am realizing is that I am applying oil too early in my wash day process which is limiting the effectiveness of my styling products. Your hair looks great!
