Great video, you ride like a maniac! You passed me on a water break at 2:06 on your video...that bridge you shrieked at 3:39 almost killed me, I got halfway across and spun my rear tire and me and the bike both went into the creek! Thankfully a volunteer showed up and helped me get out but I still had to cross the bridge. 🤙
at 70yrs old here, this brings back sooo many great memories of riding the trails, the woods, or just about anywhere I wanted- back then. Everything seemed open and available. Even the Lake Michigan shoreline close to the water on a hot summer day.
@Back4DFilmz I went and looked at one today. Picking it up next week, there adding a street legal kit to it so she can jump between trails off the forest service road
I have a 2024 xtrainer, and I am looking at a new pipe on it. Wondering why you picked the fresco over say the FMF or scalvini pipes? getting some more top end is awesome and I want more of that, but I am mainly looking to get as much low end as I possibly can. Just curious on your take on those 3 pipes? Also, what did you end up doing with your suspension? that is next on my list as well. great video!
I went with the fresco pipe because it is specifically tuned for the beta 300 engines, the other two pipes aren't as well tuned for the betas, more for the other bike brands. Fresco is also Italian and seems to be much more durable and has much better fitment and routing on the bike than the other brands. The pipe really woke the bike up and actually made the low end much better and smoother! It did help the top end as well, just makes the whole throttle range smother and more predictable. I have not done anything to my suspension yet, hope to here soon! I am planning on just re-valving it myself and seeing how it does. If I don't like it i will be putting MX Tech on the bike!
@@Back4DFilmz thanks for the fast response! I think I will go with that pipe! Do you know the part number for it? I found a boano/fresco pipe, but it seems to look a bit different.
@@Back4DFilmz Thanks! just want to make sure I am getting the right one. also, what about at constant throttle just cruising along? the new pipe eliminate that? mine seems to be a bit jumpy/surges, messed with jetting a ton but still seems to do it until i open the throttle up, then its totally fine. doesnt really bog down at all or lose power. just looking to smooth things out, and you seem to have that figured out on yours.
Here seems to be the pipe I have, betausa.com/ab-11262.html I don't have any surging under constant throttle, I did however have it with the old pipe. I would also recommend getting the RR air filter cage, really helped the bike!
For this race it was completely stock besides some clicker adjustment and setting my sag. I plan on doing some modifications to the suspension in the near future!
I appreciate you guys not continuing on at the end of that video. It was definitely not my best language 😂 in the heat of the moment it’s what my brain defaulted to. And if the dude who tipped over in front of me sees this, please know I was definitely not angry lol was just a little flustered
I went from the stock 38 jet to a 40 jet, left the needle at its stock position. I'm at about 500-1000 feet in altitude and I've ridden this set up from about 30 deg F to in the 80s. I think its a little rich for the 70-90 deg F range and would like to go to a 39 main. But it rides really nice below the 70s!
What is this bike like? I’m looking for a starter bike for my son and nephews. All 16+ but no experience really. Is this to much a race bike or torque low enough to ride confidently??
This bike makes a lot of power especially down low. Its right on the line of probably being to much bike for a first bike. I would recommend seeing if you can find a Beta Demo day near you so you can try several bikes out! For a first bike I would look into a 125 four stroke, Something in the TTR125, CRF125 or KLX 125L line up from one of the Japanese manufacturers.
@@Back4DFilmz really a 125 four stroke over a 125 2 stroke or a 230 ttr or 250f? I mean I feel ya though. Just not rich and kinda need one that does it all.
A 125 two stroke if a very finicky bike and can get away from new riders very quickly. the four stroke 125-140s are good to learn on. A 250f liquid cooled is alot of bike as well!
It for sure is nice! I haven't upgraded my suspension yet, that's on the to do list! When I decide what I'm gonna do with it I'll post a video! Thanks for watching!
@@Back4DFilmz I have been riding outside of Cadillac. Northwest a village name boon . it means A lot to me. It is only A two hours and 3 minutes. For me. I live in sunfield
They seem to be fairly durable so far, haven't broken them yet and have dumped it and plowed through trees many times! It is to bad that there is not aftermarket parts yet, I'm sure there will be eventually!
What back tire did you put on and what size? Mines a 21 and got 40 hours out of my stock back tire, but I’m ready for a change. I’m 58 and run the Peace Pipe and Muddobbers events in Ohio and Indiana.
I run the IRC M5B Evo tire in 130/80-18. Its a good all around tire but does really good in soft or muddy terrain! It would probably do well for where you ride!
So happy to see you upload a new riding video today. We got 40+ degree weather and rain for three days down here in Pennsylvania. What little bit of snow we had is long gone.
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! That's rough, we are supposed to get high 30s and rain/mix the next few days here. Hopefully some snow stays but we'll see!
Glad you were able to get a good ride in after putting all that hard work in. I was ripping around houghton lake and Grayling. I can’t wait to get back this weekend for tip up town.
Me Too! It is a really fun machine to ride! Glad you were able to get out and ride as well! Should be good this weekend but next week is looking rough!
@@Back4DFilmz Yeah the following weekend does look rough. I got a couple buddies coming up to my place this weekend so were going to ride. Your other sled is very nice as well. Have fun and stay safe out there
Just a tip. Next time you end up getting towed, or tow somebody else, you'd be better off hooking to the spindles of the sled that's being towed, and not the ski loops.
Nice that you could get out and ride. I’m in mi. too. We’re you on some private property? Did you do anything to your suspension, I think in a different video you we’re talking about doing some thing to stiffen it up a little. If so if what did you do ?
