Karelia is not a country, but a region half the size of Finland and with a population density of 2.9 people per square kilometer. Who will separate there - the trees?
It becoming independent or joining Finland wouldn't change the fact that Russia would still exist and this would probably be the basis for a future conflict.

Love it! If Russia wasn’t in such a crazy situation with the war against Ukraine and the fascistic regime in Moscow, I would surely be returning as a tourist and Kazan would be on my list of top destinations. I’m British, by the way.
@@ShahAli-i3k yes, my apartment was on 4 flor, beautiful beach view, Sultan Sipahi Resort Hotel, the service in hotel was nothing special, but the beach and the town are beautiful
