It's funny how the pro teachers have you put your thumb on the back of the neck while all the major rock and country stars wrap their thumb around the neck.
When he picks up the tempo is he adding an upstroke after the first downbeat or am I tripping? And he said.this was easy? 😵 HAAA IM NOT TRIPPING. I Slowed it down to 1/4 speed and at the 9 minute marker he is most definitely using an upstroke in between the 1-5 bass line. So.down up strum down up strum.
Hey Andy, I was trying to keep up playing along with the Billy Stings stream last night when he played at Nassau and the right-hand technique was the whole issue for me. It got me searching for vids on technique and there you are! So happy to see this. Thank you Andy for doing these lessons. This is great:) Stay well!
