Hi, I'm Richard, and I am in love with traveling, photography, and filmmaking. Traveling satisfies my never-ending curiosity and passion for exploring. Visual storytelling is a perfect avenue to share my experiences from my travels with the world. I capture the land, the sea, and most of all, the people. When on the road, I observe and document what I see and feel. I aim to leave a small footprint. Remote locations and physical discomfort won't stop me in my quest to deliver the best story and imagery possible. On the contrary, I thrive in such environments.
My professional life is also revolving around beautiful images. I make my living as a visual effects artist. You can find my name among the visual effects credits in several known movies.
Originally from Slovakia, I am currently on a work contract in Australia.
This particular one was not bookable regular trip, just a result of covid pandemic restrictions. Ship regularly takes passengers though. Check at barkeuropa.com
This has got to be one of the best of the best films of how we the people can work together we live together my hat off to the crew God bless all of you and thank you .
Sure the best video ive seen on youtube, as marine master with always a persuiting dream of getting chance to master a sailing lady, being a sailor since i can remember it really touched me! THANK YOU!:)
So many "Sailing" channels so many videos.. and it takes a videographer chained to a boat by covid-19 to actually get shots of people working the boat and making it sail even with nat geo its just shots of people in water , near the water , sad , depressed , happy , but on the deck , or sleeping..
These are stunning photos. I love the colours of all the pictures but in particular Royal Bay, South Georgia stands out to me :) Thank you for sharing!
Wow, just wow! Male and female crew all doing what used to be considered men's work. Epic adventure. And the videography, no camera crew, producers, just you. Great job!!
The Voyage film- is for everyone! The Voyage itself is not. "People tell you where to go, they tell you where they've been- but till you get there yourself you never really know." - Joni Mitchell. Hard is the voyage with a crew who are divided or contrary. We may never know the full dynamics of this crew but what I see they were fantastic! An excellent peek through a keyhole into a great lifestyle as big as the Atlantic. Only in stepping through the door can one really know a rabbit hole or stairway to heaven.
An epic voyage for the modern day crew. But for a ship like Europa it it should be little more than a walk in the park. Much longer voyages were regular occurrences for ships like that, and Europa was built with more knowledge and technology than the windjammers had.
Wonderful sail on a gorgeous ship and a really cool crew whom are sincerely friends for life now, I enjoyed watching, I'm also a sailor and I single handed a 1000 nautical miles myself....
