I got a doll and her hair was full of some kind of wax. The more I tried to wash it out the worse it got! I used Dawn dish soap....because you know oil spills..., I boil washed, but nothing would work until I finally soaked it for a bit in 99% isopropyl alcohol. If that can clean the hash oil off my dab rig it'll work on this girl! And it did!

My Cerise Hood doll has lots of wax near her scalp. I did a few regular washes with hand soap just to clean it and detangle it. It seems to help a little. I also used a hair mask made for real hair on it to try to help “melt away” the wax. I let it air dry and then washed it out with hot water and brushed it again. It’s better than it was but it’s still super waxy in some places.
