Will Instagram allow ads on it then? I don’t think it would work, I am trying to run my ads dancing to a music, and I really don’t see myself dancing to some weird music that is available for ads Thanks😊
You have NO idea how much I agree with you. The R5 Mark II is something I'm considering for the people priority AF alone. It's a killer for weddings. Is wildlife what you shoot?
@@mariusbw don’t blame you at all. Still a workhorse camera. I know people who still use a 5DM3. Tough to say: I love my R6M2 though. If you’re still going strong with your body that’s a testament to quality I’d say.
@@FranciscoAlvarezTV I also have an R6, but use a 5D as my second body. I doubt the new cameras will last as long, but I guess Canon simply made them too good back in the day😅
I will probably get the R6 mkiii seeing as my R6 og is just finishing its service life in the next 6 months. Meaning I completely skipped the mkii life cycle.
@@blindsleepyou and me both, buddy! If they don’t then I see myself staying right where I am and getting both a third Mark II as well as battery grips for them.
Thank you, my boy. I actually wrote some notes down and just pivoted off every single one. Not using a prompter anymore but definitely not going off the top of my head either, lol
I open my day with a 85mm on my A camera, and a 35mm on my B camera. For the ceremony I have a 70-200mm on my A camera and a 15-35mm on my B. For the couples photos I roll back to my 85mm, and for the rest of the night I switch to a single camera with a 50mm.
This video isn't aging well. Who's going to listen to someone about diet who is clearly fat though anyhow? Incidentally, I've tried everything from carnivore to vegan and did the best with zero processed foods, no refined sugars, minimal low-oxalate fruits and veggies and tons of real meat, eggs and non-seed fats. And yes, I have the labs to back it up.
@@dasfahrer8187 you’re commenting on a very old video which I posted during a different content error. It has since taken return for something entirely different.
You're absolutely right. I just started getting into wildlife and bird photography. So I swapped my RP for an L-series telephoto lens and ordered a canon R8. 40FPS, bird eye recognition AF and 10 bit 4K in exactly the same camera body would totally justify the upgrade.
@@FranciscoAlvarezTV right, it’s for the situations when you already have a good camera and think that a new camera will make your photos better. No it’s not. Better get a new lens or go out and take photos. Or what I like to do, is when I’m traveling somewhere, I usually book a one on one photography tour with a local professional photographer. You always learn something new.
@@andriimartynov83 I like where your head is at. Most people think that upgrading your camera will make you a better photographer when in reality you need to know how to use all the bells and whistles prior to jumping ship. Kudos to you for thinking this way!
How does this only have 10 likes? It's so well produced, and even though Im not a photographer and dont plan on becoming one, i found it very interesting! Keep up the amazing work!
@@arisameulolson I greatly appreciate that. Working hard behind the scenes to produce content worth consuming. It means the world you’d actually take the time to write nice things. THANK YOU.
Is it worth it in 2024? I just got a new R8 and I'm thinking of buying the 85mm. Can you please advise if there's a new version or any alternative companies now?
@@walkkwithhme my videographer for weddings just got his hands on it and he swears by it. It’s an amazing lens for the price. The f/2 aperture is definitely more than plenty for background separation, it features a decent amount of Macro capabilities and is even stabilized. You can’t go wrong with this purchase. There’s always the f/1.2 version but that’s gonna be a pretty penny compared to this. Sigma and Tamron don’t yet have access to the RF mount so it’s your best bet at the moment. It’s currently enjoying a sale too: amzn.to/4e6TO3c
Because Canon is seen as a luxury brand and Sony is seen as the hip brand. So people automatically have to hate on Nikon because “someone has to suck”. Fuji is just in the back ground and doesn’t get the hate because they’re “not in the pro space”
That's definitely one way to look at it. One can argue that Sony is the new 'luxury' brand because they're now (mostly) more expensive cameras than Canon but you do make a good point. A case could also be made that Fuji's GFX system is definitely aimed at professionals.
@@FranciscoAlvarezTV once you start getting into GFX, Hassleblad, and the like, I think we get into adult territory where we actually get understand the use cases and application of those tools. So the arguments cease. I have noticed though Leica is the Apple of Cameras. People love them to death or they hate them and 90% of the talkers don’t have one.
@@FranciscoAlvarezTV as someone who wants a Leica M series camera, I will admit I want the status. It’s just like that fun little sports car with no practicality. My Canon’s just feel clinical at this point, but I like taking photos, so I do buy fun cameras.
@@blindsleep rightfully so. People want a Leica for the same reason they save up for a Mercedes: they're nice to look at and fun to drive with a heightened sense of worth. I see nothing wrong with that (specially when you earned your keep) but that's where I draw the line. I wouldn't be caught dead shooting a wedding on a Leica...yet.
I wholeheartedly recommend that. I made a dedicated video about it on the channel. I’d watch if I were you. Dove deep on that one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3V0AuBhNhXI.htmlsi=CmUBRPRkAHn5PKQK
I have not seen the doc but...Humans have been eating animals, most likely primarily, for at least 100k years. It's what got us here. While I despise the industrial meat production industry it is insane to deny your body what it has evolved to "run" on. Without impractical, time consuming actions, there will be consequences to a vegan or vegetarian diet. Gonna watch the doc right now to see what triggered you so badly.
@@FranciscoAlvarezTV Watched it and I am convinced the vegan diet/ideology has been taken over by special/monied interests and is an unhealthy/unnatural way for humans to sustain themselves. One example, my great grandfather was a cattle rancher. He probably never saw a piece of broccoli until he was 45. He lived to be 106 and was healthy and active in his 90's. I remember going out and bringing in the range cattle for winter with him and my father when he was 96. His little brother 104, his little sister, an alcoholic, 86. All ate meat daily. Meat, sunshine, exercise and low stress is the best way to live. I do hope you live a long, happy, healthy life.
I'm sorry, but disagree with you Francis. I am not a meat eater [not vegan, but vegetarian, because I do eat eggs and cheese] and the "faux" plant based "meats" being created are toxic to our bodies, because they are filled with preservatives. Our bodies struggle to process these preservatives and I will NOT eat impossible meats.. I do agree with VInnie on the "Impossible meats" out there and for my health have quit eating them. As stated, I don't eat meat, butI do agree with you that animals are cruelly killed. If they were processed, as they were in Biblical times, the animal would feel no pain when killed for food. Our nation is fat, sick, and nearly dead because of the foods that people eat. On another note, not sure why you needed to include a Ukraine pic in your rebuttal. That was off and unnecessary..
Don't be sorry. I love having conversations with the other side of the aisle; that's how we grow. I'll tell you this much: Impossible Meats does NOT advertise themselves as a 'healthier' option...BUT...they are MUCH better for you than meat that is pumped with antibiotics and growth hormones. They too have preservatives, you know. All food HAS to go through some sort of 'process'. For meat to exist, for example, a cow has to be killed against her will, the food cleansed, injected with the aforementioned substances, packaged, shipped and sold. That is literally a 'process'. I hate to break it to you but cows aren't killed via hugs or tickles. I don't care what anyone tells you: they suffer and suffer PLENTY. There is NO SUCH THING as 'humane' deaths. There is no humanity in killing needlessly and I'm willing to be anything in the world you stopped eating meat because it didn't sit well with you. I agree about the 'nation' statement 100%.
@@visi0nart899 as much as people think k gear matters, I can honestly tell you I’d be happy shooting a wedding with this lens on an R50. I’d come home with 90% similarity of the results I’m used to getting with my more “professional” gear. Don’t fall into the trap thinking it attests THAT much.
As a Canon shooter, you have the 50mm EF f/1.4. Which is under $500. Oh, you want R-mount, not an adapter? Well, you can have a 50mm and 2 different 85mm f/1.2 lenses … And you get 3rd party f/0.95 in 35mm and 50mm, 20mm and 35mm T 1.0 (Cine) lenses, 50mm f/1.0, 40mm f/1.2, and even a 50mm f/1.4 tilt lens … So what is your gripe? The half-stop of f/1.4 to f/1.8? The price of the f/1.2?
I don't have a gripe at all. Cine lenses for wedding photography? Let's not kid ourselves. Honestly, I'd just love to see Canon step their game up and make some L quality glass that doesn't necessarily have to be f/1.2. They have a rich history of L glass at f/1.4. I honestly don't know what's taking them so long to put out a 50mm and/or an 85mm f/1.4. Being shown up by Nikon like this isn't a good look...and of course I don't want to adapt, nobody does. We all want more native RF options. Sick and tired of seeing Sony lap us in the E-Mount, not to mention the fact that they refuse to let Sigma and Tamron in on the fun.
