"I play with my team" *Goes ahead and solo kills with good aim. Dude the only difference between the "2 playstyles" is 1 aims well and the other doesn't.... Running around with a good DPS weapon that can kill l/m or H in 1 magazine doesn't count.
I’m kind of sad they didn’t add any new gadgets in S4. Adding sights for all guns is awesome, and the dual deagles are sick but they don’t really change the sand box in a meaningful way imo. Gadgets drastically change how people play the game, they enrich the sandbox and make the game deeper and better for it. I Still love season 4 and the game but this is probably the most lack luster season so far for me.

Thing isn’t about the gadget as a stand alone item . But hugely depends on how you use it as a player. For example, I got a friend who reached diamond with goo nade because he uses them to create new angles or block angles. Would definitely put it in S tier . So this list is a reflection of your own skill not everyone else’s. To add some clarity and context .
No not really. Just because you can use a mid gadget very well doesn’t mean that it’s S tier. This is based on pro team compositions and how powerful they legitimately are across the board. That doesn’t mean that you can’t do bad with any gadget - this list is meant to be a broad as possible
would you do a post season 4 remake of this video after the gadgets' reworks? id love to see something like that. tracking darts have become so powerful now that i would use it over sonar.

It is so interesting to see, how the shields got nerfed and nerfed and nerfed. It was originally like 1500 health and no opening cooldown for Mesh and 1200 and 20 secs for Dome
The current meta really feels like it's primarily automatics with a few outliers that get nerfed fast. I prefer a higher TTK so the nerfs have been fine but I feel like XP and AK have been really oppressive to the more dynamic gameplay this game offers that others do not. Sword, CL40, KS-23, Riot Shield, etc. all are interesting, unique weapons not often given a spotlight in casual PVP games and I'd love to be able to use them without being instantly dominated by automatic weapons. Even if I do well with the weapon itself it feels like I'm not pulling enough weight compared to the ease of gunning down squads with the AK or XP.

I’d rather they focus more on the weapons and options in the the game than lock teams to having one of each role. Having answers to different comps will fix the meta comps currently running. Locking the roles won’t help
The meta is already shifting!! It all feels quite balanced at the moment. I haven’t had enough experience fighting against the new weapons to have an opinion yet BUT the medium DMR seems very powerful. I’m not really bothered about the meta because my loadout doesn’t adhere to it ever BUT I’m sure I’ll have an opinion on all of it shortly 🤣
My guess is triple medium with 2 heal beam and 1 demat. 2 M with an assault like AKM and 1 with Pyke (new weapon). Or dogwalker comp still 2 M and 1 H. 2 heal beam and 1 mesh or grapple. Weapons like AKM/ shotgun and heavy Lewis or flame
holy macarroni the gameplay is insane. first the doorpeak followed by the ground nate, then the insane building fight at 8:00mins Sheeeesh. Cant even keep up with hearing while seeing this juice
The Deagles are crazy for close range and smacking mediums and lights, mesh is still good but the cooldown keeps you from spamming it. Heavy is eating good this update
Finally someone saying it HEAVY IS NOT BEING NERFED the just made it so that players are more creative and dont feel forced to choose rpg dome and mesh also they kinda shifted the focuse on the use of the weapons instead of rpg and one or two taps with ur weapon
ngl i wished the dual 50. cals were a medium weapon, the pike would be a light weapon and the matter would be a heavy weapon, though there would be an oversaturation of heavy shotguns
I believe that the dematerialiser was nerfed instead of buffed. The main people used it was to quickly peak from a corner inside a room there are enemies in or quickly running away. This bigger aoe makes it hard to close the same amount of wall chunks which I believe would make you even more inconsistent. The demat needed a detection system that can detect other walls and environmental extras on the other side of one wall for easier and consistent use, not a larger aoe
