Welcome to MakeShift Gang, I make Minecraft videos for your enjoyment! Thank you for stopping by and hopefully you enjoy everything you see here. I have one series currently going on, the Minecraft City Server series, come on by and check it out!
Schedule: I post every 7-10 days depending on how busy work and school are
Check out our discord and our twitter to see updates and more!
Dang bro I leave this channel for a month, and you still be cooking! You need some new power though. Try put that ES44 pack. If I recall, it to has a CP & CN livery.
would help if you set the max framerate setting to unlimited as Vsync setting limits your fps to your moniter refresh rate. plus on 1.12.2 optifine works quite well even if it does have some issues with certain mods. dont think the mods your using will be effected though
@@funtime_foxy455 There's basically no reason to have your FPS higher than your refresh rate, tbh. Even if Minecraft is running at 1000 FPS, you're only seeing anywhere from 60 to 244 fps, depending on your monitor. Also, I have had issues with optifine and Immersive Petroleum, before, sometimes the distillation towers wouldn't render for me. BetterFPS is a less intrusive alternative I like using.
The only time I worry about fps is for videos (60) and like I said weirdly I get some bad screen tearing when I have the fps locked at a fps or unlimited. I will have to test it out
When I said you were still eating bread, I didn't think you'd make a whole Grain Elevator?! Would be dope to see a thriving food-centered district one day. Great content as always. P.S I keep forgetting which version your server is on, but I highly recommend the Construction Wand mod (1.14-1.20+) so you don't have to keep placing *mostly* everything by hand like this. Survival friendly and easy to use <3
When it comes to cows in real life afaik, they’re transported by truck in a special livestock trailer, and they’re usually transported from the pasture they were born in, to a feed lot where they’re fattened up, and then taken to a slaughterhouse to be made into food. They did used to be transported by train to centralized slaughterhouses in city industrial districts but they don’t do that anymore due to the interstate Highway system. So you could either take them by truck or train to a slaughterhouse, and then you can take the meat to the food processing plant, hell you could even do those things in the same building
What you also could do is have the fields of crops as decoration, and have all the production be done using IE's garden cloche(Might want the Cloche Call mod to get certain things growing)
For when you're playing on the server, I recommend farsight and fogger, farsight would allow you to run higher render distances without changing it serverside (it basically saves the chunks clientside so that it can render), and fogger would make the fog a little nicer at those distances.
@@makeshiftgang What problems have you had exactly? From my experience it's as simple as just load the mod client-side and then crank the render distance. The only problem is it only saves chunks from that session, unlike the Bobby mod on newer MC versions. So you get the best results from long play sessions.
oh another caveat: I believe the reason it doesn't save across game sessions is it stores the chunks in you RAM, rather than your hard drive, so make sure you have a bunch of RAM allocated to minecraft. Anywhere from 4 to 8gb should work, usually I run 8 because I have the RAM to spare.
Ayyyyy, finally made it to the latest video, been catching up the past couple weeks since episode 51. I’m honestly so glad I did too, seeing the progress of this server has been amazing. Keep going bro, im loving this series
Hey makeshift mabye in the furture put a boxcar inbetween the locos and the tank cars. Because I’m real life they put a box car inbetween the loco and the tank cars to keep the gas or whatever the tank car is carrying away from the loco
