I believe there is one God the Father and one mediator between God and man. The man Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. The Father and the Son share in one Spirit. The Holy Spirit. I have enjoyed my Dake bible for well over 30 years eventhough I don’t agree with all of its doctrinal beliefs and commentary; it has alot of information that a seasoned believer can sift through. A wise man will hear and increase in learning. Line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little.

I just received my 1st Ruckman Reference on Friday. I had no choice but to start highlighting! I was reading the Holman Study and I put it back in the box on my shelf because Ruckman is without a doubt going to need my undivided attention. That man was amazing. I thank God I found him at the beginning of my studies.

The common man’s reference bible is more fitted for public preaching and evangelism, the ruckman is in my opinion for fitted for personal study and build up.
I love my common man’s reference Bible ,it’s got a lot of strong points like the ruckman reference bible …. You almost can’t have one without the other.
Personally I like Bible without the name on the front just on the side because if you travel in the foreign countries they are more likely to frown upon it as more people are against the Bible and here in America as well depending where you are in as I have been told

The best of study bibles is the worst of study bibles for a beginner. I would recommend Dake's Annotated Bible to a mature Bible Student. Finis Drake did invest decades into producing the commentary for this bible. So, don't count it out. There are hundreds of sermon outlines in this commentary meant for Pentecostal and Charismatic Christian ministers. They can be used for anything from family devotions to pulpit meat for Sunday Sermons. Again, just like when one eats chicken at Sunday dinner ... eat the meat but spit out the bones. This should be done with every all commentary in any study bible.
I have had mines for 20 years. Same one. It is beaten up. Because it has been in many battles for the truth of God's Word. It is my go to study bible. It has defeated Catholics dogma, Jehovah Witness dogma, SDA, Atheist, and taught the unlearned. It is worth it.
