A short intro about me: I am a full time Early Childhood Educator at a daycare and in my spare time I make videos here on my small room about iPhone Accessories and Phone Cases from a well-known brand like Speck, RhinoShield, UAG, Catalyst, JETech, Elago, Lamicall, ETC and upload it here on RU-vid.
Hi, you can also see how protective this case can be. here is a #short video Elago Silicone Case Drop Testing with iPhone 15 and 15 Pro Max ru-vid.comh-LZIPDtFnU?feature=share
Hey, thank you for asking. I stopped using the case after a week and went on trying another case. I don’t have a long term experience with the Speck case. Is there specific experience you are looking? Maybe I can make a #shorts for it. But based on my week with it, I feel like the case is pretty good and you can feel confident in terms of protecting your phone against drops
I will used the case again for another five days and document my usage and maybe try throwing it on the ground and do a light drop testing and see how it handles (though I am pretty confident with its protection). I will give you an update within this weekend
You can go with JETech non-magsafe case if accidental drops is not a concern. On another hand, the thickness of Elago silicone case helps with the case fitting, structure and I assume, better with minor drops.
There is a huge problem with this case as yesterday I have purchased one for my new iPhone 15 pro max natural titanium and while installation screen protector pilled on, This makes me disappointed😢
@@vincetech0514 Hi 👋 Dude.. how are you doing. Is there any way to fix this issue as I really like my new case but still I’m floating mind weather I want to change my case or not, please advise Dude, thanks 😊
@@thuwanfazilmarso3323 I am really thinking since you already liked this case, is to order a different screen protector maybe you will find one that don’t have problems with UAG case. The screen protector I am using is from Torras, but I also know that UAG sell their own screen protector and for sure you will not have problems with that.
@@vincetech0514 thank you so much for your kind help regarding this issue, and I will definitely order a UAG screen protector, ones again cheers 🍻 maa bro 😎
My advice would be don't waste your time JETech in my opinion are just hoping you will buy it and not ask for a refund, if a million people buy it for just 1 dollar and half of you don't like the result, that's half a milli baby!
Ok that wasn't fair however most of the options out there are just not sized correctly and none of those manufacturers could be bothered to acknowledge for the SE it just needs to be a couple mm narrower.
What colour is your phone because i was planning to buy the stone colour just like yours but then I found out there is no white colour for the iPhone15
When the video was finished recording I tried to lift-up the screen protector again and use the sticker to remove some of the dust particles and somehow it improved the appearance. The only thing is I can’t make it to a 100
Its a decent case for the price, but it starts yellowing within a month and gets very ugly within 3 months. For black iPhones, I think it comes in a frosted back finish, which is translucent and matte which helps with fingerprints and smudges, and it also has black tpu sides which means no yellowing. Although personally I have a pink iPhone 15 plus, so a black frosted case doesn’t suit these light pastel colored iPhones, but it’s a great option for the darker shade pro iPhones like black and blue titanium along with black iPhone 15 and 15 plus, it’s also a decent option for white and natural titanium, but looks absolutely out of place with pastel iPhones.
It has really amazing magsafe too, ESR and Rhinoshield has amazing magnets perfect for car mounts, batter packs and wallets, but ESR is somehow even stronger that Rhinoshield, makes it annoying for magsafe charger, as it is very slim, and this makes it stick like glue, so I had to pull it by the wire, it has started to fray the wire, which is not good, also any 3 in 1 charger this case becomes annoying when you have to take it off most, bases come up with the phone, even heavy bases. But rhinoshield seems to be perfect just strong enough for all accessories, but not to the point of being annoying.
This reminds of other case company who actually went step backwards and reduces their MagSafe strength. At some point, too much of MagSafe/magnet strength ruins the ease of use of Magsafe accessories
@@vincetech0514 yes, there’s a sweet spot, and the surface of the case also makes a huge difference difference, cases that have grippy back material, can get away with slightly weaker magnets, as the surface provides enough friction to avoid sliding of wallets and battery packs and also provide easy removal from chargers and stands, but cases with slick backs need stronger magnets. But I still choose stronger magnets everytime, because I have found ways to dislodge the magnets, still better than magnets dislodging by themselves.
@@palashkale I go for stronger magnets as well because some accessories can benefitted by it and as long as the accessories stick decent enough at the back of the phone, I am good with it 😀
Magsafe magnets should be in every phone case that has qi wireless charging, including older iPhones and androids. It immediately gives us so many options of accessories and it isn’t too expensive to add magnets.
I never thought how handy it could be having MagSafe especially when you invested on some MagSafe accessories. Yeah you’re right, even Android users can benefit from MagSafe as well.
Only once I received a comment saying the same about their case having "button problems". However, I even reached out to MagBak about my issue and unfortunately the extra-buttons they sent me does not solve the problems. Next time, I will be more cautious in purchasing MagBak Cases. Thanks for your feed back, because it could be an isolated cases.
No issues with the alignment tool because once you clean the screen of the phone, you snap the alignment tool and stick the screen protector. My first ESR Screen protector is with the iPhone 14 Plus and they shared similar alignment tool. If you are interested I have the video of applying ESR screen protector for iPhone 14 Plus here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V0dqgH35gy8.html
It’s actually moderate one. But if that is a silicone case, that will pierce the case. I think that is what I am trying to convey that this case is much durable than others
I’m not sure if this is still necessary, but the JETech Magnetic case for the iPhone 15 won’t attach to the fridge surface and just slides down. On the other hand, the ESR clear case sticks to the fridge as long as you position the camera portion out so the magnets lay flat on the metal surface.
