My cat had this surgery last night. It was a 3 lb uterus! She was fine on Thursday, I thought she was just a bit constipated because she wasn’t pooping, and I made the vet appointment on Friday night. Of course vets aren’t open on the weekend so we had to wait until Monday. She had ballooned so quickly! Very impressive to see it removed.
I’m studying for vet tech right now and tomorrow I will be assisting with my first pyometra removal surgery. I’m very nervous I might pass out cuz the sight so I’m really happy I found a video so I know what to expect. Thank you!
Hello thank you I have an albino cat I live in Baja which is the border to southern California on the Mexican side …. She truly is a miracle but I need more information on how to take care of her
My cat Jagger does that really worried loud cry ALL THE TIME. Especially in the morning and at night when its time to eat. its like he forgets he just ate and begs for food all night
We had a chihuahua decades ago and his name was Marcelo. He was given to my grandmother as a guard dog. HE BIT EVERYBODY! I would walk him tied to a pole so he couldn't bite me. Eventually it got so he wouldn't try to bite me anymore but woe unto anyone who tried to get too close. I suspect he was very abused in his former home and it made him so ornery. It was shame he was so vicious because he was a beautiful dog with a very light tan coat and a deer like face and unlucky strangers would immediately try to pet him. My grandmother liked that he would try to murder anyone who dared to come into her yard. She had much bigger dogs but he was her best defender. I miss that little terror.
We’ve just had to have our 10yr old bunnie’s leg amputated on account of a fracture. He has the run of the house & was happy & healthy pre injury so there was no way we could put him down. He came home yesterday & is already eating & toileting. We just love him so much therefore can’t thank you wonderful people enough for all you do for our beloved pets. I know we took a massive risk with his age & all but we had no choice. He’s just so precious to us.

Just to clarify... it is NOT common knowledge that lilies are extremely toxic to cats! Not in the US anyway. We've had lilies in our home for years, with multiple cats living with us and had NO IDEA! Unfortunately, we had a cat die as a result, ant it wasn't until later after someone happened to ask about that that we even learned about this. And in the US, there is NO WARNING LABEL to indicate such extreme toxicity to cats! This needs to be changed. I'm quite sure that many (most?) cat owners in the US have absolutely no idea that the common, beautiful smelling lily is actually extremely toxic to cats, and even a harmless brush of their face against the pollen of it can be lethal to them. We learned this the hard way.
My torti has the most annoying meow I have ever heard from a cat and it’s very high pitch and can go on and on and on and it’s super loud. Her labs are fine. I use those plug in pharanomes , make sure I’m always cleaning her boxes and changing her filtered water and she has food and I play with her but she won’t shut up and sometimes I yell shut up very loud where she runs bc I can’t take it on some days. There have been times I just have to leave the house to get away from her mouth bc it really makes me angry. I love her. She id a senior cat but the older she gets the more loud and long and annoying her meows become. I use to wonder if she was having dementia but she finds her litterbox and food just fine and still jumps in her cat trees etc. I thought very hard about getting her another fur friend thinking she is lonely maybe bc her brother passed away over a year ago. But then I start to think … what if she hates her new sibling ( you know how fun introducing new cats can be ) or what if the other cat has a mouth like her and I’m stuck with two cats that never shut up. I think I’m leaning more toward not getting any more cats at this point. I love them but not the mouthy ones
Omg someone just gave me flowers and I let my cat smell the flowers but like a lil just bloomed in em I remeber so I put it out side he didn’t eat any and maybe smell justa little omg I will die …if he gets sick it was a like 1 second thjng
I got 2 cat's, the female has thumbs cos it's parents are inbred and the male raped the female today. They are brother and sister! The male has not stopped meowing all day after it raped it's sister. Couldn't break um up cos they wher on the roof.
If it is the fish parasite and with the seasonal cases being high during seasonal flooding or soonish after as prehaps floodwater contamination of land then used to walk dogs on but now parasite remains in greater quantity in the little remaining water in the muddy area than would of been in the flood water itself originally increasing chances of picking it up. Also could the parasite be less picky as to what it attaches too given its situation. Are the cases more likely if the dog was walked on flood plain areas or where recent flooding from any water corse may have happened. Establishing this may clear other normal muddy areas and determine which wet mud may hold the parasite. Further providing a link to the fish parasite if it is indeed responsible
You did say certain foods what if your cat doesn't take pills will I heard about the thermal but I've also heard some cats don't tolerate the medicine and it can be quite expensive and probably hard to get certain cats to and from the vet. I don't know what to do my cat is 13 he is my world the vet diagnosed him but I can't get her on the phone to answer my questions. I've heard some people using supplements and change of diet my cat was doing pretty good space is actually lost over 4 lb but he started off at a hefty 15 but I think he's already developed a lot of the conditions
Loved my English Springer. Miss her so much. She lived 14 + years. Loyal, loving and very energetic. I enjoyed every minute of our long walks, her constant curiousity (found 200 baseballs over her life), and loved her swims in the river.
