Howdy! I am a CT technologist in the States. I am here to share a space where we can learn and bounce information about radiology together. Learning comes with teaching, and teaching makes us better at what do. Stay passionate friends!

Hello, please I would appreciate videos solely focused on the planning side. With your camera focused on the screen to see your recons, how you calculate your time, how the scan goes on inferior to superior and vice versa. Thank you
we struggle here with getting people to fill in. We have call in staff, but they don't want to work overnights or weekends. When you have a FT job to fall back on, I can see why you don't care if you're terminated from the part time job.
I have a question.... Is there a way to change the color of the SN number? I want it to stick out for biopsies so the wrong number isn't chosen for the positioning.
@@RADKhammany I know, I double check but today I definitely fkd up. I took the fov instead of the sn. Im being hard on myself as I should be, luckily everything is good but ugh ... My heart dropped to my stomach. I guarantee I won't do it again but I'll be triple checking now. Lol. If it lit up in yellow that'd be great, or I wonder if you can get into the Dicom and move the numbers on the screen around so you're only looking in one place for the SN.
It's funny that the Start Scan and Stop Scan buttons have the same symbols as the buttons on office scanners and copiers. Like you're scanning a human document, LOL
I am a Radiography student in Nigeria I have seen your videos and I want to learn from you Chief but I have searched social media but can't find a hand on your handle to connect with you chief !
Thank you im scrollin down notes , For the humerus the position where u dont level it over the head ... What do u do with the suppzrposition of the chest laterally and how do u collimate if u dont want tk expose the chest from the start
It's a difficult topic to cover especially when I don't have the software to explain it. I'll try some way to do it in the future though. Thanks for your inquiry
This was very helpful. I actually work in IR and I've working in IR for about 7 years. I was never required take the VI license because it did no benefit to my pay scale. I literally have zero knowledge for this exam. Patent care is about the same be positioning or physics I have zero knowledge of.
& THANK YOU for your comment! I almost gave up... Tough gig making power points and then trying to figure out how to record and all the other STUFF. Whew!
I don't want to give you the incorrect information. I highly recommend calling Person Vue- they seem quick to respond. But!! ARRT credentialing would be the best resource... Here's the number I found 651.687.0048 on ARRT
Doc order a CT of abdomen with pancreatic protocol. Apparently I'm to take oral contrast and they will do IV contrast as well. Is this normal to take oral contrast for this? Will it allow for good visualization of pancreas?
Some doctors like to have patients drink PO and others like just water. PO won't obscure the pancreas it'll just mainly highlight the intestines. Make sure to stay hydrated before and after the exam!! Best of luck!
Your axial and coronal reformats are different than any reformats I've seen. Is this what your radiologist prefer? BTW, thank you for your videos. I will be going to a GE scanner in the next few weeks and it has been years since I have been on one. Your videos have been very helpful so far!
Hi! I attempted to make a PowerPoint video however I have not found a good way to explain it without having the programs. It's on my list though. Thanks for the inquiry
