Retired commercial electrician. While attending a great Vo Tech school we got to go to a large GE and another year to a Westinghouse electric motor repair companies. My first job was at a large slaughter house that due to moisture, heat & vibration sent at least one motor out a week for repairs. We had a great electric motor rewind shop who said we hold the record for sending three burnt out 100 HP motors to him in one day. Never liked the flimsy European EIC or maybe they were called IEC motors that did not last as long as plain Jane bullet proof made in USA NEMA frame motors. Before I retired asked my company to order a spare 50, 60, 75 & a 100 HP three phase 480 foot motors for critical air handlers. They were all made in cheating lack of quality control communist china. The 100 HP had a label stating to only use wires rated for at least 110 degrees C . All of the 100 HP fans were feed by most commonly used building wire , type THHN/THWN that was only good for I believe 90 degrees C so cheating china garbage motors had to run very hot to require such a Hugh temperature very expensive wire.

Hi. Great tutorial. Which perimeter is set to run in automatic mode.. According to the factory manual is to set A O1 = auto and A0 = default hand mode. Is there another setting to adjust to work in auto?
Can this drive be set for 4-20 ma output signal. There is a procedure on the manual for tuning the gain and bias on a 0-20 ma output signal but it is not working as expected. Trying to make it work before they switch back to easy selectable 4-20 ma output option on the original Allen Bradley drive.
