Going into suction side calls for a MINIMUM of 5X the pipe diameter. MUCH preferably MORE. IE/ that is 2 inch pipe= 10 inches MINIMUM> That pump has a very hard short life ahead of it at minimum.
So for a 16 x 32 equivalent pool, the stuff goes at around $200 per square foot which is over $110,000 for a 500 square-foot pool it's pretty but she's expensive 😅
Hey boys! Im a Canadian service manager here. Ive been in the pool industry for 15 years. You guys are doing good work. Nice plumbing! I also put unions on everything but your right most companies dont. But have you ever tried a PVC Union SKT X MIP With O-Ring? That way you dont have to glue in a union onto a threaded adapter? Its great and i never get leaks. I use them on everything. Also for the tops of pumps they make them in black (heat resistant) so it doesnt break down over time. Great to see a good company in an industry that loves to do the least amount that way they can make more money on a return call. Good on you guys! Please let me know if you end up going this way ! Hey American Pool and Spa KY, We've got an inground concrete pool and spa with two pumps - one for the pool and one for the spa. Our pool holds 30,000 gallons. We've stopped using the spa and the heater altogether. The issue is with the water, as it still runs through the spa and heater even though they're not in use. What can be a solution for this problem? Is it possible to have a plumber come out and replumb everything without digging or filling in the spa for this summer?
Test strips seriously!? You need to up your game and get some dpd. Vinyl liner pools should only ever be treated with liquid chlorine never a granular chlorine you will burn a hole through the liner. And also never put trichlor chlorine tabs in your skimmer they produce acid as a byproduct which is heavier than water and the 16hrs the pumps not running it will drag highly acidic water through the plumbing and pump/filter. Just use a tab floater like a normal person.️
PVC in the pump inlet and outlet is definitely slacking. Discharge to multiport isn’t level..nothing to multiport is level..slacking Home Depot ball valves…slacking, no need to watch more.

It would be nice if it actually freaking worked with the Wi-Fi and the app but it doesn’t. Current app has no settings to allow it to choose what network to send, and receive signals from and to.
Ran some blue water through it, been digging through foam for days, one of the most difficult repairs I've ever done. Ended up having to replace an entire hose that was cracked would have just been digging it out inch by inch. Getting there, slowly but surely.
Can you help .I have this pal light system, the lights stopped working, but they co.e on when they want without me touching remote,I can't find an app to download any help would be appreciated, I have paid 3 pool companies to help me with no results
