Doesn't look like he torched the solder directly. Sure it was close by but the quicker solder can be applied like how he trail the torch briefly especially with vertical applications that little bit of solder helps by cooling enough to support the connection and its not like an iron skillet the copper can cool quickly i learned that the hard way and made anyone witnessed first soldering diys sign confidentiality agreements negotiated by my loud partner Dan Wesson, and i still suck at soldering.
I have that exact same torch valve brand new and it has never worked right since the day I bought it. It just doesn't make sense to me. I use a Bic lighter to light it and it lights up good but the second I move the lighter away the torch goes out. So as I continually try to light it I'm just wasting gas. I've pulled it apart cleaned it. Actually got it to sort of work once. But it's back to not working again. What doesn't make sense to me is the bit inside the flame chamber that screws into the end of the barrel has no hole in it, a rubber seal on it as well. So my question is, is that right is that how it's supposed to be, and if not then why does it flame on when I put a lighter to it. I know the gas is coming out, I can hear it, so why does it stop when I take the lighter away. Please help I'm at the end of my teather with this thing, I need it for my business but it just doesn't work or I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I don't know which,
Well these parts wouldn't work to add anything to your camera, these parts would take existing audio/video FROM your camera and send it outward. There's nothing you could plug that camera into to give it a new input. Only 2 actual options are to 1. Use an HDMI capture card to record the clean HDMI signal from the camera into OBS, letting you bake any microphone signal into the OBS recording.. (I assume this was their 'Solution' in this.. 'video' lol) Or 2. Actually mod the camera itself to add a Mic jack (Which is what I'm working on myself)
