Fortunate to have been gifted a center bowl carved from antique heart pine the timber was reclaimed from the foundation of the Davis Felton plantation (1854) and turned in 90s by a master woodsman
Hello author, I am a plumber from China, and my job is a welder. Can you be your friend and learn together. Is it convenient to leave contact information?
don't know where this ride took place, of course, but it looks a whole lot like the small suburb in which i grew up. Upper Arlington, Ohio. BTW, my first car was a '61 MGA that i bought in 1970. and you'd see a few TDs on the streets from time to time. not rare at all.
@@billbruceoh you're kidding! i go back every year to visit my two lovely sisters that still live there. i graduated in '70. you know, there are a LOT of small towns where that video could have been filmed. i'll have to watch it again and see what caused me to even guess as to its origin, let alone guess correctly! what a hoot! you know...it's very possible we know one another.... i went to wickliffe, hastings and then UA high school. last name is hinig, first joe. BTW, i rewatched the video and i'm guessing you're somewhere south of lane and not far from jones jr. high. the streets are, now that i know, unmistakable! haven't lived in UA since the late 70's, but have been back many, many times. planning a trip this month, hopefully in my new-to-me, nicely restored, '53 TD.
Great video! Hope you and Weston are doing well. :) My dad bought a new Datsun 2000 roadster in 1969. We looked at TR6's, Fiat 124 Spyder, MGB but chose the Datsun. I was 14 at the time. Man, I loved that car! We'd take Sunday drives on the back roads of upstate NY and the exhaust sounds, the smells of gas, fresh cut lawns and fields, the warm and cool air as we'd go down into a meadow or up a hill, these things are still etched into my memories. Your video reminds me of those carefree days of my youth. I have a C5 Corvette convertible now but I sure wouldn't mind picking up a clean old roadster. I'm not sure if reality would mach my memories though. You get spoiled with all the creature comforts of newer cars.
Just made it back there this past weekend (2018) as a spectator, 2001 my last time I raced it, gave me goose bumps watching, thanks for the post, good race.....
