This has to be based off their culture, because no child should have thos done to them at a young age. No. Basic ear piercing ok. Well if she doesn't like it the good thing is it will close and whaen she older she can make her own choice.
I think it's probably best that you don't show this stuff to Americans because they think so much differently than other countries. Yes it's a culture thing but Americans don't care. You can't even spank your own child as discipline anymore because it's "abuse" 🙄

I saw a comment saying that they believe this piercing will get you into heaven. Genuinely curious as to why? I’m pretty sure that if God saw you die and you didn’t have the piercing but had full faith in him and a heart full of love for him and abided by his commandments and repented of sins, he would take you despite you not having a septum ring.
Dude! It's just a septum piercing! They DON'T HURT at all, and they usually heal really well! Y'all need to chill the f out. The parents are obviously fine with it being done and the girl doesn't seem to mind it either. 🙄

It's a cultural thing in India. In Latin America piercing both ears from a baby girl is pretty normal too. Mine were pierced when I barely had 1 month old
