Skubal will pitch games 2 and 5, right? Won’t be ready for game 1 unless they rush him, and I’m not sure why Hinch would when he can still pitch two games
Now talk about a class act Astro fan ! Thank you, I was worried about your guys though, on the road playing the Stros…whew, I am having a blast with these scrappy guys !!! Well you know the feeling you guys have been there over and over. Sorry one of us had to lose, but thanks for the well wishes, and you are a classy Stros fan that’s for certain!
Jackson's hand was visibly shaking as he changed the pitch comm system in his hat. I felt so bad for him. He was overwhelmed with the pressure. But like a true team, the Tigers picked up the teammate who stumbled. Beautiful stuff.
Andy Ibanez pinch hit. What a fucking call by Hinch. If he doesn’t get every single damn vote for manager of the year I will be upset. Lol! Go tigers!!!!
I know we all joke about cardiac cats but that game literally made me physically ill. I was so stressed out I wanted to cry after. I don’t know if I can take a lot more of this LOL
@MS-ii1sv dude I'm 49 years old and I'm originally from Flint MI. Huge tigers fan! It's a child's game with mega business involved. Doesn't mean I'm not a fan, just saying. I do NOT cry or fret over millionaires games lol
Not concerned at all. These are young guys. Let’s say they swept the Sox. Now the pressure is to not break the streak in the playoffs. This lets the pressure off for a few days and to let them enjoy what they accomplished over the last two months when almost assuredly 99% of the fan base had them done for the year. Were fans not taking the players and coaching staff seriously because of 2 months of struggling baseball? Now we want to bash the players for not taking 2 games seriously? They have played playoff baseball since the middle of August! They now have Skubal lined up to start the series and are in a spot to steal Game 1 on the road. If Kenta has a good outing in 162 that’s a plus going forward, he didn’t so he goes back into the shadows.
Astros fan here. Y’all have had a great season but I hope it ends here in Houston. I’ll be at the game tomorrow to see how it plays out. I’m pretty sure the roof will be closed . The forecast says 96 degrees tomorrow 🥵
Way to kill the momentum H.J.., Biggest slap in the face to the Tiger faithful who have supported this team for so many years. You sir are the horse -bleep that we were warned about coming out of Houston. Your class is inexcusable.
They did their job and clinched when they were written off after the deadline. AJ helped get us there and kept this team grounded and have played the best in baseball since the break. After they clinched it was about just getting reps for certain players. Maeda and mize won't touch the mound to start in houston, but he still has to see what he has. I'm sure you were dogging him after they clinched in the first game too lol. You're just another stupid fair weather fan that doesn't understand baseball.
Yeah I know. God forbid after a 10 year drought and players that have never been to the postseason celebrate a playoff birth after the crazy run they had to even get there when they were written off. You people are beyond stupid.
Let’s be honest right before the last two games Hinch said we try and win them all and they didn’t. 161 they blame it on weather and hangover probably literally not professional. 162 not even close not competitive. The fans deserve better, fans pay ridiculous prices sit through long rain delay and they don’t show up Saturday, Sunday the same I don’t care for, embarrassing!!!
With the huge fan support for the final weekend losing today with Kenta starting was certainly anticlimactic. Tiger Fans deserved a better chance to win.
@@johnp440 completely agree. I meant to mention the 3 straight sellouts, that’s my bad. Good for Detroit fans, but sucks they had to see Kenta pitch today
