I have great admiration for the work of so many dedicated and talented individuals who put their hearts and souls, not forgetting amazing skills, into not only this Tavern but the whole museum. It is a fantastic and vast museum for all ages to enjoy.
Just watching this as it reminds me of younger days when the threshing machine came to the farm and the whole setup was powered by a Field Marshall. I noticed the registration number is JVO 441 and it reminded me that my grandfather's car, a 1948 "sit up and beg" Ford Anglia had the number JVO 431
My grandfather, who cared for the pit ponies at ellington colliery, died last week. I was looking through an old photo album with varies photos of him with the ponies. He cared alot about them.
Being indoors and wearing a Hi vis jacket and a site safety helmet brings me to the subject of mental health, something should be done about it. If you needed the reflective values of the colours you could have told the camaraman to put his lights on.
