This is brilliant in every way, Sarah! Technically exciting. Wonderful registrations. And such LYRICAL playing!!! Your lyricism and sheer musicality are amazing.
Not since Virgil Fox himself have I heard this piece played with such spritely joy! Put a broad smile on my face and got my dancing feet going! 😂 Great performance!!!
I didn’t even know there was an organ version of this piece! It is beautiful! I will be seeing a performance live next week and am looking forward to it.
That is wonderful Sarah. Have you looked at transcribing the last movement (#5 Maestro) for Scriabin's Second Symphony? I can always hear it in the organ tonality.
Thank you Sarah for your perfect arrangement. I played this at our church last Sunday for our gathering organ prelude for Saint Patrick's Day and Lent. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QeH4JirIaio.html
Thank you Sarah so very much. You raise my heart and soul. How did you know how to play some of my favorite organ hymns so perfectly? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QeH4JirIaio.html
The Channel "Johnny Music", who also does organ covers, has made a much better arrangement than yours. Just saying, you could look at his arrangement, link to it, or take some inspiration from it.
It is not “much better.” I don’t know what you’re smoking. Like most organ covers, it is completely lacking in color and variety. Boring and monotonous. That’s exactly what I’m trying to get away from. Also, his “covers” are computer-generated. He does not play a single note in any of his videos.
As I was watching this video and I said WOW big time indeed and fantastic playing with fast registration!! An organist myself so I know that what you did was superb with fire and brilliance!! Very well done 😅!!!
