The Bible gives pastors a clear job description that centers on shepherding. In this role, pastors are called to care for the spiritual and emotional needs of the congregation, and to reflect the ministry of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, in the local church: Keeping the sheep from straying by bringing the Word of God the Most High; Leading the lost sheep back to the path of righteousness by encouraging us in our walk with Christ; Equipping the sheep to do ministry; Shepherding the flock as a under shepherd until the return of the Chief... Shepherd, Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:1-5 KJV). Every father is called to serve as a shepherd in his own home. The Bible application of shepherding (being a pastor or herdsman) does not end with the call for pastors to reflect the ministry of the good shepherd Jesus in the local church. 5 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ²Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; ³Neither as being lords of God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. ⁴And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away (1 Peter 5:1-4 KJV). 😌🙌🏽🤲🏿🙏🏻 #AmenAmeenAlleluia #PraiseTheWORDofGODinSpiritthereof
Yes, in Islam, Jesus refers to Allah as "Almighty God" and declares himself to be a servant of Allah. In the Quran, Jesus says, “I am a servant of Almighty God. Numbers 23:19 says, "God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
Also it says we are co-resurrected with him and new creatures... And Grace is for discipline. So if you don't have grace, how can you learn....if we took a snapshot at David at certain times of his life he was incredibly sinful. But yet God called him a man after his own heart
