Local, Global, Second Hand or forgotten. I'm going to be sharing all sorts of albums that i love n hold dear, or you've missed altogether. I’ll maybe even throw in a personally edited music video or two :)
This gives me a impression that the recording session, have some of air compression, making the sound better, like a music recorded at the top of the mountain n
Thanks for sharing this. They were fantastic and surprisingly popular to just then have their music be completely unavailable by normal means in the digital age, and it's lovely to be able to at least hear one of their albums again.
I picked up this one and their "White Cube" album a number of years ago at big Half price books tent sale. Never gave it much of a listen till today. Interesting album, with a few gems (To my ears) smattered on it. The album really picks up steam midway through the disc! i think the above mentioned reviewer was busy with other reviews and only listened to the first few tracks and mailed it in. anyway, I Just tuned in here to see what the people are saying about it.

Like this one With a Haze On My Mind And my plans, Behind me And no guage on my time Moments go by The air escapes my lungs I'm Holding close The person I've become I've Become In the thoughts, ive not sorted Is the lnowledge of our nature, and that all things left behind us we return to like an altar Making an offer The feeling leaves my hands I'm outside Looking in On the place where I stand Where I Stand Far from home And on a day like this one
When You find that you are tired And you feel misunderstood Knowing patience is a virtue And yet waiting does no good Is the glass too dim to see through? Can you set time back to zero? Will the flood rise up to meet you? Oh My God And is it right that we should be alone, In an aching that we share Can we throw a bridge between our hearts to meet in open air? And your shadows you'll take with you Your Sorrows never fading Though the moon's bright side will find you Even, While its waining So hold on, sailor Hold on, partner Your family will find you Your pain will guide you When you dove into the deep end Did you know on your way down That the fears you hid to hold you up, can beckon you to drown? Did you see the big wave coming? Did you feel the planet moving? Will you know that you've been missing all the time you're losing So hold on, sailor Hold on, partner Your family will find you Your pain will guide you Sometimes life can be misleading and you wont get very far And some people dont know what they need And bury who they are This is all to say "How are you?" Treading water, Castle burning All alone except for everyone on our asteroid turning So hold on, sailor Hold on, partner Your family will find you Your pain will guide you
Before Kiddos Bath is another one with a strong nautical vibe. Oh and of course the carnival of animals - aquarium is amazing! The earth does screaming by ub40, totally different type of song but very aquatic too!
