Yes I have been dealing with this for a few years. I only found out recently that it was a symptom. I work outside daily so it was really difficult for awhile because I always expected it to be something else and had no idea why I was having that sensation all the time and nothing was ever there.
I am having the exact same symptoms as you are, especially the sleep, it’s horrible and debilitating unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I too am in my 40’s and this started on me in my 30’s especially after my first pregnancy at 33. I too still have periods some are light others heavier, I also experienced night sweats and palpitations. 😢
this is a process thank you for the update i am curious about your diet i took dhea 50 mg by itself for three days and it was too much for me, i tried 25 mg still too much i am taking pregnenolone 10mg with dhea 12.5mg for three days and i had three good days and two good nights. i have the burning sensation like my metabolism is turning on for the first time after a long time… off. it lasted about two hours or less. i have energy and mental clarity. so far so good ❤
Curious why you chose the online route vs in person physician? My guess is that it's difficult to find knowledgeable providers who are willing to prescribe it. Truly hope that isn't the case however. Also, does insurance cover costs through Wynona?
Yes- my provider told me that she treats symptoms, so she prescribed me antidepressants and a sleep aide. I plan to continue seeking a physician who is knowledgeable to treat me, but until then I will use an online telemedicine service. My insurance does not cover this, however, I can use my HSA to pay for it. I look forward to the time when my insurance will cover my HRT. 😊
Studies have shown inconclusive results as it pertains to DHEA consumption. We're better off sticking with progesterone, estradiol and testosterone if there's no improvement in libido. There was one tiny study done on DHA in women and I believe the sample size consisted of women in their 70s and 80s and it only showed a mild benefit whereas for women under that age We need more studies so we can't really conclusively say whether it works or not. Doctor M Claire Haver who is an expert in this field does not prescribe or recommend DHEA

I'm 56. I have been going through perimenopause. I have about 21 of the symptoms. Having two periods a month. I'm just done with this perimenopause. Hate it. Good luck everyone.
I went and read the studies on DHEA in women and decided to not take it. For me the acne and facial hair will not be worth the boost in hormones if nobody felt any relief from symptoms because for me relieving the symptoms is the point.
I’ve read that for most women, the max dose should be 30mg. If you get tested and your DHEA levels continue to be low after taking 30mg, then you can increase.
have you heard about this: ru-vid.com0JMW1XifICo?si=7YkBrAMsAVC0mxAU it is the mother of all steroids hormones, they say with this one our body will make what we need. i want to try it next… just checking if you know anything about this and could share… thank you.
are you feeling better? i am starting pregnenolone 30mg and dhea 12.50 mg as they are the bases to create all steroids hormones naturally and are easy on the liver and kidneys, so i heard 🙏🙏🙏 praying we can find a way our if this stage quickly.
i felt burning hot because i started with 50mg, had cold sweats as well and my heart was a bit fast. i only took for a week. the pain was because the progesterone for sure but i even stopped my adhd meds and all supplements. after stoping hrt for three days, the pain was still there so i had to do a water fasting to reduce my pain and inflammation, maybe kidneys cant stand the pills. i finally feel better from the pain but of course i am not sleeping… i am going to the doc Monday and i am praying for direction. i hope you find your perfect dosage.
Wow, 50mg seems so high! I can’t imagine how that felt, given the way 25mg made me feel. My neck and chest felt like they were on fire, and my upper arms had a prickly feeling. I’m lowering to 10mg starting today. For sleep, have you ever tried Trazodone? It’s the only thing that has ever worked for me without side effects.
@@TheGlitterFiles What does pregnenolone do for a woman? Women who suffer from depression, stress and anxiety, and other mood disorders may find relief from taking this in supplement form. In addition, pregnenolone may help improve sleep quality and duration, which can also have an even more beneficial impact on mood regulation and mental well-being. Pregnenolone is known as the 'brain' hormone as that's one of its main function. I am very curious about this. i may need to check my liver and kidneys before taking more meds and supplements. but i want to keep looking for a way to sleep longer.
In females, a low level of pregnenolone can signify various health concerns and hormonal imbalances, potentially leading to specific symptoms. These may include fatigue, mood swings, decreased libido, irregular menstrual cycles, and difficulties with stress management.
@@TheGlitterFiles Pregnenolone is known as the "mother hormone" or "pro-hormone" because it's the starting material for the production of many other hormones in the body. Pregnenolone is a steroid hormone produced in the adrenal gland that serves as a precursor to over 150 other steroid hormones, including cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone. These hormones are essential for regulating various bodily functions.
I always recommend when trying any new herb or prescribed medication cut in half or less or even a trusted pharmacist who cares about the patients. I know Dr's or herbalists mean well but any medicine prescribed by using weight, but not gender born with, previous medication reactions, metabolism, genetics, and yes even the dominant race ie; Italian,Irish (ginger genetics is a thing), Afrikaans,Asian, mixed which can be different races related to within a human being like European(irish, Scottish,Anglo-Saxons, English, Swedish, etc or AKA Northern (pale)Asiatic( Korean, Philippians,Chinese, Japanese, Indian), Afrikaans ( Nigerian, Congolese, African, even USA (European/white/Mexican/etc mixed with enslaved ppls) Can change how any medicine reacts to you. 1 Example: My FIL was pretty much killed by a Dr who prescribed a cancer medication that literally says to test the genetics of anyone who may be of middle eastern or Italian genetics bc it can kill them. Well he died not from the cancer but the medicine. Unfortunately even with proof she knew that he was Italian and it was not the proper med for him she still prescribed it and he died pretty horribly & bc incompetence & bias in a Dr's schooling but medical protections for these Dr's & others so called "trained & licensed" medical professionals are hard to prove their stupidity due to being able to put anything in a patients medical record without/with an examination of 5/15 min, reading their file fully, bias, prejudice, research, etc. Oh and my favorite if you're a woman especially a non European who's in extreme pain & they tell you you're faking, dramatic, mentally ill,etc threaten you and put in your medical records all of this making it take even longer to get a proper diagnosis if any and either dieing or becoming deathly ill and even when you are hopefully diagnosed and you tell them and call them out on their stupidity they make excuses or say they don't believe the other Dr or test results. I've dealt with these types of idiots often.
It is tempting! But I’m afraid that filler would look bad on me because I’m a sagger and not a hollower (or something like that). I’ve been contemplating temple filler because those areas are hollow, but it’s so expensive .🫤
I'm guessing clean lifestyle, sunscreen, good genes and still a nice amount of estrogen floating around her system. In the beginning stages of perimenopause its our progesterone that drops and this tends not to affect skin as much as loss of estrogen does.
Thank you ! You had me interested from the start. I started taking DHEA it makes me feel amazing with all this energy I have gotten . I also feel calmer
Please check out Dr Mary Claire Haver and Louise Newson - they are both leading experts in peri and have amazing advice. Your symptoms sound exactly like peri. I started at 37 when my anxiety went off the charts. HRT has helped alot.
Thank you for your video! I’m going thru it, also. The collagen loss and hair loss is so scary. The entire situation consumes me. I did just start a 2mg estrodial tablet. I’ll keep you posted on how that works out. ❤Looking forward to watching your next video!
Collagen loss has been the worst? The skin around my eyes cracks easily. I read that a lot of women are using estrogen cream on their face and necks, so I’ll be looking into that for sure lol. Please do keep me updated on your estradiol!
Barbara O'neills videos on how to balance hormones naturally are fantastic ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z7uATPC-7CY.htmlsi=McBWaPD4G8-9jInK
❤ i sent you an video in one of your video comments and a doc who prescribe dhea often recommends to start with 5mg i have 50 and i plan into cutting them to get smaller dosages, you may start slow if you do not feel well i hope you get better soon and will have all your hormones ready to go soon.
after three weeks taking the progesterone orally my back started hurting around where my kidneys area, now i have small white bumps all over and i my skin is super itchy so i did not take it last night and i will wait until i feel better and if i should continue… i will eat beef, liver and eggs until i feel better again as for now they are my safe foods… i wish it will go back to normal naturally so i do not have to be taking anything anymore… it is a journey and we need to keep trying to find some real and long lasting relief. i hope you do!
I’m so sorry you’re going through this 😔! Remind me again the dose of progesterone? It’s so strange, I was JUST reading comments on another video about women having back pain while taking DHEA, and then I saw your comment- for a minute I thought I was still reading the comments from the other video.
@@TheGlitterFiles i also started taking dhea last week, but the pain has been increasing since my third day with progesterone 200mg for two weeks in April at first to treat endometriose, than i asked doc to reduce to 100, still felt pains, i was thinking that maybe it was because the endometriose but my usual pain is much lower, and now my birth control dose is a lot lower than that now… 0.075mg…. just in case i will stop all supplements and see… thanks for mentioning that 🙏
@@TheGlitterFiles initially it was 200mg for two weeks, one week without then two weeks with 100mg, one week without and six days with opill, it has about 0.075mg, i skipped a few days when i felt nauseous, so basically two months 😟 i sent message to my doc and he asked to stop it until i feel better
Im 41 and I never took birth control pill or a hormonal stabilizator etc, etc...I struggled with periods 3 years ago and I understood why, doctors gave me antihistaminics and then the hell : depression, suicidal thoughts, no menstruations for 4 months & lot of wierd stuff. I stopped the antihistaminic & any pills, I eat well (probiotics vegetables), no more bones cracks & a regular menstruations without any pain.
@@TheGlitterFiles no thanks God. I noticed the timing : dentist gave me antibiotics & corticoid, dermatologist antihistaminic & the Gastro a heavy antibio therapy...boom! Studies just confirm that antiobiotics & chimical pills increase depression with "neuro toxins". Sorry, talked too much, I was touched by your video & just want to say, ure amazing and keep going and listenning to your body but forget about what they propose for hormones.
