If you buy a og one or a one s/x I recommend installing an internal ssd it helps with the slow ui and loading times/loading assets is improved especially on a One X it does a crazy difference
I’ve been using one of these since 2017, and it’s been fantastic. It’s still my main console today, though I’m probably going to have to replace it soon to keep up with new games

I got mines pre owned on eBay for 95 bucks description said disc reader broken but it came with a free game inside and the Xbox read and played the game great funny thing I only bought it to play my Xbox 360 games I have on my account 😅
My only issue with the Xbox One S in 2024 is the terribly laggy UX. In games I don't have issues, but in the Xbox menus, the input lag is unbearable...
I'm buying a PS5 soon but i already have a pc and a ps4, i just really love consoles so i'm getting a second hand xbox one S to compare it to the launch day ps4 my dad got me back in 2014. Its still amazing and if you replace the hard drive with an ssd the load time is already fixed.
I’m playing one s now in march 2024 I hope they keep supporting one s for long time because its much cheaper for me especially with considering prices With prices of controllers and headsets and games(etc.) definitely a cheaper option for me I would like Xbox one x but the price is too much for me especially since I got the one s it’s cheaper to keep using my Xbox one s I’m low income so I wouldn’t be able to play without it because of prices and high inflation
@@detectiveslayer6499 yes but I have Xbox one s already I like to have the disc drive cuz when I buy games I like to get to buy a physical copy especially with the price of games I rather have the game in hand

Still play mine. It’s my Xbox 360 system too. Xbox One games still hold up well in 2024. GTA 5 is great on it. Only reason to get new gen is if you’re tired of load screens and want 4K, crispy resolutions, and stable frames above 60fps.
Play gta 5 on Series S performance Mode 1080p 60 FPS Fedilty mode 30 FPS 1440p On Series X performance mode and RT 1080p to 4K 60 FPS Fedilty mode 30 FPS 4K

Great video man! Thinking of buying myself one but a little skeptical since the console is getting pretty old. But thanks to this video seems to be still perfectly usable now in 2024.
Microsoft doesn't support the Xbox One any longer, but third party developers are and will continue to, mainly because PS4 is still cross-gen with PS5 also. Basically, first party games won't be supported into the future, but at least until Sony decides to nix the PS4 third party games will be. It's also worth it especially if you can get it for less money than the Series S.
I usually game in my living room but wanted another console for my room when watching Netflix or late night gaming, bought a Xbox one since they’re so cheap rn there literally almost no differences after I did the ssd upgrade honestly thinking of selling my series x and rebuying again when they’re dirt cheap like these Xbox ones💀
