Hey, my name is Vítek and i am 16 yo enthusiastic scale plastic modeller and huge airplane lover from Czech Republic. You will see on this channel my builds and a bit of flying too
Hey, hahah, hopefully, yeah. The model stil exists and i indeed do plan of finishing it, after filming this video, i immediately started filming a second part for it where i assembled the model and applied a forst layer of primer... and in this state the model still sits on my unfinished kits shelf. Unfortunately, i've lost all the footage from that and i don't think it would be watchable anyway... The model is in a more or less good condition with only one broken landing gear leg that i'll have to replace and i'm planning to do some pretty interesting weathering on it
Hi. I made this kit too. It turned out really nice, I put aZvesda 2cm flak in the back with plenty of superdetailing. Also may I recommend that you put gloves on when you spray
Hey! I am actually considering putting something like a flak on there too. About the gloves, this video is pretty old one and a lot of things have changed over the years... I still don't wear gloves as I feel they kind of restrict my hand's movement and control over the airbrush, however I'm not as sloppy with my paintjobs as I used to be 😅
what did you use in step 9 from the drive sprocket center? its shows a part called polly cap in the middle but i didnt see you install it. there is no sprue part number on it either, just shows it on instructions.
Спасибо за это видео,я тоже собираюсь строить модель Хеллката,но от AFV. Но я все равно надеюсь,что подчерпну из этих видео много интересного и полезного!
Built one from Academy myself, it's a really nice looking aircraft and a very uncomplicated build. The Seversky is a bit of a hidden gem in the cale model world.
@@my_models_oficial If you ask me, your work was great and the aircraft is also inherently appealing. It's completely down to you how much time you want to spend on a kit before moving on though, I try to draw a line at some point, so many projects waiting for me in my stash.
@@christosswc hahaha, same with me😅 i don't even wanna know how much kits are waiting unfinished for me. Also, i realised, that the brown on the kit should have been sandy color 🤣
Nice ! I love these kits....I'm slowly doing an E-3 (Exito Yugoslav decals) and an E-7 kit Kroat decals. We need to support these guys........and Roden, ICM, Dora, Mini Art, Clear Prop! Subbed.
Yeah, definitelly, the kit have really surprised me with a lot of stuff, although i've heard about them only good things, also, this build is taking a loot of time. it might not seem like it but it's going for almost a year now... Btw i've just finished stenciling like a week ago.... If you'd be interested, i have an instagram page @my_models_oficial where i post a lot of updates about the build. And lastly l, thanks so much for the sub, it actually means for me a lot! Thanks!
Really great build. If you want to put that in a contest. Just remember you have one modern pertole can in the storage rack. And judges will cut points. Anyway awesome build and video. 👍👍👍👍
@@my_models_oficial Trying to help.👍 if it's glud on to tight cover it with a white glue thinned in water make a tarp out of a thin sheet of toilet paper. Or VMS paper shaper. Still a fantastic paint job and build.👍 God bless
bro its beautiful, im actually doing a Tiger II model rn and was wondering, how can i get weathering effect like i tried olive brown paint with water but its just not stable
Depends on what kind of weathering effect do you wanna achieve, wash? If so, i can reccomend oil paint diluted with white spirit... just make sure it won't react with the color underneath
Well, about pastels i'm kind of carefull because they are hard to control plus the results may be boring and uniform... anyway... i'm planning on making dust using enamel paints
Sorry if the following sounds harsh; I do not mean it to be. I offer it only as constructive criticism. I enjoy your channel, and I am now a subscriber. Your exhausts look a bit "off" to me. They are too gray. The base color was fine, but it needed some irregular areas of umber and rust colors to look realistic. See your full-scale example at 04:21 for how irregular they should look (except for the front one, which is not affected by the hot combustion gases of others). The ones at 04:26 are on a show plane and are either new parts or have been cleaned with a rust removing chemical or an abrasive of some sort. The pieces looked rather good around 03:26, except white lead deposits (if that is what you were adding) should appear only on exhausts exposed to discharge of preceding outlets, so the leading one would not have any. See 04:21 again. Your English is fine, at least as good as that of many American native speakers.
Oh, thank you for your criticism, i'm gratefull for such things if they're constructive... As you know with time you gain more and more experience, this video is already "pretty outdated" and i would approach them in a different way... Anyway thank you for those points -i will sure go through them while building another pair of exhausts : ) Thank you for your time and advice!
Great job on the Wildcat fighter. I've never built an Admiral kit, so this was informative. Personally I like having a pilot figure in the cockpit. Weapons of war should have their masters at the controls. Hahaha!!!! Weathering was truly the standout here. Very realistic. Happy hobbying. Bill
Thank you once again... I don't really prefer the option with figure inside because i'm planning an "interesting" diorama with figures all around the plane and so
Nice, it does add a new de-mention and effect to the overall presentation ... Ive always told myself I would make something like this to display my models, thanks for the inspiration!
Hey man, thank you so much new video should be on this friday if i will have time for finishing it and it should be about the tank's interior and my stupid brain XD
Watched some of your videos, and they're great too... btw, i already painted interior and you can see the photos on my instagram: instagram.com/my_models_oficial/
