With all due respect to Dr. Soloveichik, I think the suggestion that the adult Gottlieb is leaning on the Torah scrolls is an interpretive stretch. If you look closely, he's leaning on the arm or shoulder of the man holding the Torah (also his father?), and/or on the lectern to his side.

This university which is teaching about Jewish religion. They should first learn about human rights and stop killing people In Palestine 🇵🇸. They mention the rights of LGBTQs but they forgot what they doing with Palestine who gave them hostage in 1947. Shame on Israel and the teaching they giving to the world.

A truly beautiful, triumphant and worthwhile work of incredible art and architecture, which celebrates a glorious historic event, in and of itself, while also representing one of many such defeats by these and so many other peoples of this "holy" region. Not bad for a bunch of "savage barbarians", eh? Thousands of far greater works remain from the Romans, the same, of course, cannot be said of the subjects depicted herewith. Indeed, they not only have they never uniquely created anything resembling a "civilization": art, architecture (the Temple was built by an Arab and paid for by Greeks, with giant Babylonian bull sculptures, et. al. all ancient cities in Palestine are Greek/Roman/Phoenecian), music, poetry, theatre, philosophy, etc...they can't even copy it well from their betters, despite their best efforts. "Monkey see, monkey do", right? Thankfully, this and thousands and thousands of other works by the Romans serve as a reminder of humility and the consequences for being disloyal to your host nation. "Those who do not remember the Past, are condemned to repeat it.". Then again, maybe a matched pair would be nice. Don't you think?

If anyone of you really want Truth you have to search for it, advice dont go to church, they have some of the truth, but half the truth is still a lie 💯📖 facts are that the Torah is part of the new covenant, look up Jeremiah 31:33 in the Hebrew, book of Hebrews quotes that very scripture, Messiah himself said heaven and earth would pass before anything perished from the Torah Mathew 5:17-20, Messiah kept the Torah perfectly and said follow Me i have laid before you the perfect example, sadly people want to take away from the Father's perfect Torah, dont fall for it, NO ONE has the authority to do so , not even the Son that's why he said I do nothing of myself, of course we don't keep the Torah to earn salvation, it is the Father's instructions and will for our lives, we can only be justified through the Blood of Messiah Yeshua , but do we continue in sin that grace may abound GOD FORBID Romans 6:1-2, do we make void the Torah through faith GOD FORBID we ESTABLISH the Torah Romans 3:31, the whole point of the Torah is to point out sin, if you get rid of it we no longer are aware of these sins the Torah points out, may YAH bless you all 🙏💯♥️☝️📖

What a great Jewish Group the Macabeats are from Yashiva University in New York. Min Yan Man was there big hit. Even Leonard Cohen's Hellaullah in Yiddish was great to here.
