We’re a couple of ancient dudes repping the masters division (50+ year old) in Enduro Races, and general MTB mayhem. We decided to make this channel for any of you out there who feel they’re too old, too slow, too injured, or to out of shape to compete or just have fun.
We’re not about winning races, we’re about promoting the biking community, bringing the stoke, and living life to the fullest.
Thanks. If you are familiar with the area, you can start from the top of "Hot Laps" and head down the cut line and then turn right and get on a trail called "Many Hands". Its a very short, and very manageable climb, no more than 10 minutes. It will put you about 50m from the entrance of the trail head. Another option is that you can climb from Pneuma and then branch off and head to Many Hands. Both options are now visible on Trail Forks. It's a fun intermediate trail.
@@rustyrotors50 okay the last time, we used the tail of 727? OMG it’s so far away it’s climbing up there. 😂😂😂. Okay next time do that. Thank you and keep safe every ride.
Hey, these are all single tracks with very little climbing to get to the top. They can be done with hard tail bikes or soft tail bikes. I see no reason why a gravel bike could not do them either.
Yo bro sick skills im moving to Calgary and I live near Sunridgemall but fish creek is so far away and I dont much about transportation since I just moved got any other fun places like these over there ☺️
Hey dude, thanks. I would think Fish Creek is about 20 minutes from your area. Not too bad. On the NW part of the city there is Bowmont area or Eastlands. They are pretty fun too and may be a little closer for you. Good early season riding at all 3 of these places. Hope you get out and enjoy them. 🤟
@@rustyrotors50 thanks my man ye fish creek is like 2 hours away from me and I can’t afford to pay 35 bucks every weekend just to reach there in 25 minutes I was thinking about hitting bowmont who know maybe like once in a 2or3 months might ride fish creek too
@@rustyrotors50 Ah! I thought it was is BC, I'm in Alberta so I'll be there when we have our next trip planned out. Thanks for the trail! Have fun riding out there!
NICE WORK!! ...I can appreciate all the hard work to make the video series and I really enjoyed following along. Great work on the jump and the video editing!!
Awesome. Love the rocks. You need a wheelbarrow up there. I keep a couple at either end of my trail. $75 from KMS Tools. The green plastic ones with metal handles (wooden handles will eventually rot). You could've filled that landing up in no time and it keeps the borrow pits further away from the trail.
Hey dude, sound advice. Not shown in the videos but I have since put a bucket on my ATV and move rocks that way now. A wheel barrow is something I think about a lot, I need. Will probably get one very soon. I like the idea of the pits further away from the features. Thank you.
It looks pretty new. I've ridden the cross country trails in Canmore but didn't realise they had this trail. I've also ridden the dirt jumps there a couple of times, and yet I didn't see this - maybe it's simply new.
One year old now. Great change up to what you would expect from the Nordic center. It's right off the parking lot, pretty close to the dirt jumps you are referring too (soft yogurt). Definitely hit it up next time, you will enjoy it a lot.
