These owners caused this divide. The proof is in the pudding. This team doesn’t deserve support. I never felt more disconnected to a team in my life. This is deeper than just pre season performances. This club lost its values and traditions. Drogba was right he doesn’t recognize this club anymore and so many other fans see and feel the same.
Doesn't make any sense? I will be supporting the club win, lose or draw and I was supporting the club when we was in Division 2! Doesn't mean I have to accept whats going on after winning the champions league not long ago.
A lot of frustration for fans comes from a place of " here we go again" the great reset....again.....then again. The fear of where this ownership is dragging the club is also big. We have to support but its hard not to be negative after the last couple seasons
My moaning is towards the Sporting Directors. They seemingly think "doing the most" with transfers is doing the job well. Petrovic going out in a year after starting 31 matches is criminally insane and highlightd the poor team development.
This is another Chelsea Waze bye unnecessary this kid is not even proven enough it's sad to see the direction on my club is going It's Going Down Under
Absolutely agree with you Alex. This is a long term project. I like the strategy. I think this season we will get top 4, and next season, when the new system is really flying, and Estevao and Piaz arrive, I think we'll have a title push. Maybe not win it, but at least be competing.
Alex! Even a young Lukaku isn't suitable for the system and philosophy Maresca is seeking to established. Lukaku was tailored for a Conte, Benitez, Mourinho, and Moyes system. I have just looked at Samu's compilation, and I am of the opinion that you cannot judge based on YT, because YT compilations can make Titus Bramble look like Maldini, however, I don't think you can bring a rough and raw talent when you already have Guiu, Broja, and Jackson. It just does NOT make sense.
I think you mis the point. Haland is not just a big guy. He has a high football IQ. right place at right time. Not just big. Stop gaslighting the fans please
Lukaku was not consistently a threat in the Prem. He was not indomitable nor persistent with his threat, especially when we talk about big matches against bigger sides. If you scout a player who brings fire no matter the circumstances, no matter the match or minute, or score, then that is a different player to Lukaku. I don't expect Omorodion to be an unending terror like Suarez, but I hope he has the fire of a Drogba or an in-the-mood Diego. The feedback about Omorodion's shooting is not encouraging when you say "he slots it in." I was hoping to hear about velocity like Drogba, Suarez, VanNistelrooy and Inzaghi.
Lukaku got 121 goals in 240 apps nearly a goal every other game. He certainly was a threat and the only time he wasn’t is when he went to sides that didn’t know how to use him
@@barrybarrybannan Nope. He was not a threat like a tenacious top striker (eg. short-term Diego, Didier, Eidur, JFH, vanNistelrooy, Suarez, Inzaghi, etc. Never that striker through a match nor through tough opponents.
@@hnaku8748 agreed but we aren't as far off as people like to make out, we were in a cup final last year with an average manager, a load of kids and the biggest injury crisis in our history. We too often reflect on how bad we are compared to before but in comparison to the teams around us fighting for top 4 we are similar
They think City way is the only way to win things. But not only did City have the luck/timing of getting one of the best head coaches ever, but also incurred 115 charges while at it. Fingers crossed for us.
now I see you are just a keyboard warrior and haven't touched a ball, do you think such systems are mastered within a month by players who are not yet in their potential
No many really hated Palmer the player himself. But rather the surplus covering of a single position due to our own failings. Could have just got both Palmer and Olise instead of the dozen redundant wingers we have. And even now you see we're still looking for a proven striker which many were asking for even last summer.
Palmar is class some chelsea fans are plastic I'm a true chelsea fan myself and I'm happy we got Palmar but bringing Samu oh that's s different story had no game time and only scored 8 goals we are Finshed 😂😂😂
@hnaku8748 You're right. We didn't need Angelo, Washington e.t.c. but in isolation, Samu is a good deal and will be a phenomenal player for us. In a couple of years, we will look back on 70M for Samu and Jackson as a crazy bargain.
useless signing that 40m could have gone towards a proven player and not another youngster. tired of this im not even looking forward to the start of the season anymore.
@@barrybarrybannan didn’t necessarily mean a striker as we have Jackson guiu and nkunku can play there. More of a winger because I don’t trust Mudryk Sterling or madueke to be consistent. Also all our centrebacks have been awful this preseason.
@@wojtekdob9555 I think individually our cbs are good outside of disasi and badiashille, been only 3 weeks and in defence shape is so important so understand teething issues there. Wing area is a weak point, madueke is fustrating because if he could offer some crossing ability and better decision making he would be really good. Mudryk needs a loan big time and yeah sterling would be sold if anyone actually rated him.
@@barrybarrybannan 100% agree with you on the wingers madueke has the most promise. Mudryk I’ll be honest I’ve given up on him. If we don’t sign a winger I have a bad feeling he might try playing chillwell there
@@wojtekdob9555 I just see chilwell being surplus to requirements tbf doesn't really fit into a maresca system in any way. The reason I would be saying loan for mudryk is because I think you could reset his confidence, send him on loan to a german club whether the whole league has a high line and let him expose them in the same way werner did. Then pray that we can recoup some of his value.
More wasting money on “potential” was that supposed to be Jackson, Washington and guiu? Seriously what’s the point in going after omorodion when it’s clear the answer is to get an established striker and move Jackson to the left where he’s clearly been better. None of this is on maresca it’s all on our useless know nothing directors.
@@user-if6bx1gq5w true. As an example, Ineos managed to make more significant impact within their first 6 months at United than what Clownlake has done for us in their 3rd year of ownership and that's saying something
mate we are all tired of this senseless moves... whats the point of bringing Omorodion having Guiu? ... Osimhen wont come and this is how these owners want success? ffs!!!
Yeah. Chelsea has the most players. Over bloated. Redundant players in almost every position. We are being run like a player farm more than trying to have the best 11 as possible
If, and I agree with the guest, but if Julian Alvarez is a young world class striker - I have to ask why Chelsea are financing another club to buy him rather than go after Alvarez themselves? Unless of course, there is another objective that has a higher priority than buying the best player. The fact Atletico are ready to dump Samu in order to get Alvarez tells you what that club thinks.
What is Alvarez only wants Champions League Football and his agent has communicated that? Plus, maybe he wants a wage increase which Chelsea have shown they don't want to match high wages
@@susky5840Osimhen literally had the same physical profile as Omorodion with better skillset, resume, and achievements too, not to mention he himself has expressed his desire on playing for us from the get go about several times now. And he's willing to play for us despite not playing in the CL this upcoming season. So now that Napoli are opening up on lowering Osimhen's asking price and also willing to include Lukaku as well, then why tf are we not going after him?? They're willing to fork the dough for Omorodion but only willing to go for Osimhen if he's available on loan?? If anything it should be the other way around. Every background figure in this club are high on crack rn. The owners, sporting directors, the scouts, even some of the players as well
Connor now gone the 6th academy player to be sold to a CL team since these clueless clowns🤡 took over the club if you think all is Rosie you are as bad as the owners
@@TheByline Yes bro. You need to wake up just like the Chelsea team. You do realise right that we play City at home in just a week or so time and we are letting in 4 Goals often. How you think Sanchez Morale is going right now. You think they wake up on the day of City and all turn into Beasts!!!
Its just pre season, we are playing a new system it will take time. EM was experinenting, better to do it in pre season. We will be fine...give EM time.
It's good your passionate about your clubs. However you express such naive football intelligence here. Chelsea will not be getting top 4. Looking like a huge struggle to get top 6 again. The absolute minimum with the funds and wages should be 4th. Also clear the quality of the squad is getting worse year in year. Tosin in and Enzo still lacking physically to impact any consistently after two years.
Leicester had problems defensively as well. The system needs the forward 5 absolutely pinning teams back, technical fouls on turnovers. The club in general….. If a family member was self harming, one doesn’t grab a pair of Pom-poms and start cheerleading.
