I set up this channel up for one reason: my patients.
As a doctor, I don't always do justice to my patients questions and concerns and I know I don't always do justice in helping them to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
I want to but healthcare has become robotic, disconnected and unsatisfying for patients/people and providers/clinicians.
I know how difficult it can be when you're not feeling well or just unsure about you and your family's health - I hope these videos help provide you with a little more context, control and guidance.
This is my small way to provide more for my patients and anyone interested, to have the conversations we would like to have, inspired by real life questions and experiences.
I also like to include some info about longevity - this is all about preventing disease, optimising health and performing at our best.
You forgot to say that depression is another cause of vertigo.Depression causes stiff nape muscles ,consecuently they obstruct good blood flow to the ears where balance is.
Fresh blood at the end of urination (a few drops) and chronic pain in right kidney for several years after a UTI (that was treated with antibiotics). Is this cancer? Or chronic inflammation of kidney due to that UTI several years ago. Kidney function is normal and blood sugar 82 but blood pressure is quite high 159. Shall I take a new 14 day antibiotics course?
My grandson has a urinary infection. He says he has no symptoms, and I wonder if he didn't get this infection from magic mushrooms. Could this be the reason. He lives outside in a tent and does not have a fridge and could have had bad meat but that would surely make him vomit? I still think the mushrooms did it, what do you think?

Uti’s and eating contaminated meat with e. coli are noted in a New York Times article. Older women usually don’t get symptoms like burning with urination and may get mentally confused with urinary infection. Also women should always urinate after having sex to avoid UTI’s.
I had a bad ear infection ñand i went to the doctors 3 weeks after suffering and the medication given to me didn't work. My question regards symptoms following a Covid-19 infection. Twice this year my husband has had what seems to be directly connected to Covid: 3 months or more of chronic daily vomiting and daily nausea. He is 81 and normally in very good shape but with each of these chronic inabilities to eat and even drink have resulted in loss of up to 25 lbs., which he did not have to lose. We have only heard of one other person who have had this reaction to Covid and that "young" man's inability to eat only lasted a couple of weeks or so. I ask this question as you are a GI doctor with a global presence. Thank you.

My wife suffered terribly with UTI’s for years and we had tried everything. One day we met a person who worked in a chicken farm. I may be an atypical case, but I’ve been getting blood and blood clots coming out of my urine after I masturbate or have sex. There is no blood in my semen, only my urine after sex. And the blood clears as I continue to pee. There’s no visible blood in my urine after this and I continue to urinate normally. I noticed this bleeding only happens after I masturbate or have sex for a prolonged period of time, like more than 30 minutes. If I do a “quickie”, there’s no blood in my urine. I wonder if any other guy has experienced this?
