I dont know of any games where you talk your way out of a boss fight BUT in Saint Row the third, you had a choice to kill the boss OR save your homies, im pretty sure, its been years since i beat it. Portal 1, i would just jump in the fire pit so i didnt have to do that GOD Forsaken maze in the back rooms; its my cannon, portal 2 is a dream. Borderlands 2, jack tells you to end yourself before you even reach the guardian, its your life or his. its not your fault your unstoppable but after completing "K** yourself" is it really you or your body double 🤔 We happy few, you could end the game before the game even started but there is no boss Demon souls is repeative and i think lore wise you could say the game ends when you put down the controller. jump scare at 2:30 . I always think about the time limit and I dont think it would have been the same game without it as much as I hate it. I didnt know about the shortcuts when I played, it was such a diffrence going from two with all the extra stuff, but 4 just felt too much with the extra unncessary stuff, like needing xbox glass or the open world with needing a car to get around a building in the first game and I thought it was relatable just playing as a nobody, a photographer. like hes not a fighter, hes not buff or anything, it just helps exsplains the game difficulty in my eyes. i cant believe they didnt have a voice actor for otiz!
Im still waiting for a good sonic game! I really loved Frank and when he met the photographer in the first game it really showed off the type of character he was. going after his big story but not being a straight psychopath for his mission
WHAT AN INTRODUCTION! Amazing video! I loved playing as a low inteligence mail man. like how much of your brain would you have after being shot in the head. Maybe the brain injury made you forget how to run. This game was really gorey with the lore and i really loved hearing about all the vault stories. I remember you could make arcade gannon be a slave to caesar because of his illness, and the englave kind of reminds me of fallout 2 with the community around the choosen one.
Super is ridiculous and silly, GT was a normal and logical procession from Z by the team that worked on it (minus Toriyama). I would say Super is weird as fuck and filled with nonsense. GT is like the completely grounded sequel by comparison. Your comment about the animation being off product is also nonsense - it was the same team animating it, a few months after ending Z. Completely nonsense. Super is completely off product, especially in its original televised version and there is no comparison. It isn't even drawn the same way. GT is done via traditional hand drawn cel animation by the same people that made Z. Take off your tinted glasses. Obviously the writing hit some snags because - as you mentioned, it started a mere 5 months after Z finished. They were, as usual, rushing through production and barely keeping up with the release schedule (much like early Super, actually). You really jumped the shark in whining about the names, though, Vegeta? Cabba? Frieza? Cooler? Captain Ginyu? Piccolo? Cell? Toriyama has always used silly ass names that are barely concealed puns, even to the point where he poked fun at the name "Orange Piccolo," by saying that Piccolo wasn't very good at coming up with names. GT has serious problems throughout, but there's a bunch of shit takes here.
Ngl, I think they should redo GT with the power of what's happened in Dragonball since the original. Keep the major story beats l, but make it fit better
Personally I loved GT. But that was when I was in middle school so I think it was perfect for a kid. Definitely not the best dragon ball series but it my most nostalgic. I watched an episode every day before school :)
DBGT: Great premise. Terrible Execution. Goku Time. Everyone else is completely irrelevant. Even the villains are irrelevant. (Especially Super 17) 11:58 "everyone agrees it's one of the best things to come out of GT". Odd. I actually think it's one of the worst. It breaks too many conventions in design for Saiyan power ups and is a massive ass-pull. Especially an ass-pull that Old Kai fucking KNEW about it. It's only there because the writers wrote themselves into a corner.
The Black Star Dragon Balls were likely no longer active after Kami un-fused with Piccolo. It's been hundreds of years ago. So it's not likely they would be something that people would need to keep in the back of their minds.
they actually do pretty interesting things with buu in super, in the moro arc. I won't spoil for those not caught up but they do explore buu's unique relationship with the old grand supreme kai

The "I always thought you had a crush on me, but I'm not into flat chicks" line he says to the chick who just got smashed into the concrete by a giant robot might be the greatest one liner ever (even though it's sort of a two liner lol...) But yeah, Frank West is the much better protagonist in my opinion, plus OTR has the Proto Man costume with the hilarious run animation. I hope Capcom will bring this series back to life after remastering the first game, or at least give us a DR2/OTR "deluxe remaster" as well.

I was so exhausted by first quarter of GT, with all that "remember that miniarc where Bulma, Krillin and Gohan get on a false Namek? Here, catch a dozen", so when Baby appeared, I just dropped the show. Looks like I need to start again from that point
It's trash lol anybody who pretends that it's not just didn't watch the show or honestly you like really weird anime. It's just as bad as super. The only difference is the last half a super at least is moderately entertaining Even though that's also an embarrassment of a show Gt has the worst first 15 episodes in any show that has ever existed? It's not even close. The art is terrible. There isn't a single good animated fight outside of the first episode. I don't know how you guys secretly think that it's like a hidden gem. It's not. I watched the entire show. Unfortunately I had to to do it twice when I was watching all of dragon Ball with my ex and now my nephew
