Hi there, As long as you are a national and holder of a foreign passport, you need a visa to enter Cameroon. It may not be required if your passport is from a CEMAC member state country.
Still waiting after 2 months for the visa. Called about 50 times and someone finally answered 4 times and would only say it is "under review." Seems to be a problem with the Cameroon staff and their office in Yaoundé, perhaps over who gets the money. They do not answer emails and seldom answer the phone.

Hi, thanks for your question. You do not require Cameroon ID to make a new passport out of the country. Keep it blank if at all they ask. Actually, when you attend the embassy for your biometric, ask them to give you a high commission ID, which last for 10 years and also equivalent to Cameroon ID.
On the Cameroon Embassy website in Washington DC, it says you can either apply for a 6 month or 1 year visa. I applied for the 6 months, but my evisa only gives me 3 months. €153 is too much money for just a 3 month visa

E-visa means you apply online, and the visa confirmation will be sent to you, and you get the visa at Port of entry. Standard means you have to attend the high commission. But, according to the visa site, the phrase "standard is for a normal 3 months' visa.

It's a really nice place to be. I have been there 4 months ago. You can eat there.The food is amazing. The view is just awesome. But the boat tour is too expensive they should reduce their price. I really enjoy the place.
Just got my husband’s visa approved. Applied around 7 am Washington DC time and got it around 3:30 pm same day, express option. I had zero issues and had everything needed, took me less than 10 mins to complete the application maybe cos I travel a lot and I’m used to doing evisa for other countries.
